I like both teams of premiums, however, my worry is that you will need more money for the rookies and who is the premium to miss out?

Second team for me.. excellent early team. I'd suggest bringing in Williams for Laird. Best bargain in SC. He is going to the Blues to play more midfield. Extra coin will give you plenty of wriggle room for upgrading rookies without compromising very good premiums.

Thank you for the feedback.    Williams is a good player and may be an option if I need cash.    Other cash option is downgrade ladhams to daniher or Ziebell.      With rookies we wait and see who gets a game.

Very nice 1st teams mate. If the wind blows in the right direction you could have 14 keepers, but probably at least 11 and should score well from first bounce.  I can see why so many will go Grundy and Preuss /  Treacy. It is sound theory, saves and makes money and scores pretty well point wise BUT if Gawn fires up early how do the hell we get him in to our sides, and when ??  In all the seasons so far there have been surprise rookies, breakout midpricers and premiums that drop price we fly at, so where does Gawn come in ? My first dozen sides were Grundy/ Preuss, Treacy but have switched coz of my own doubts about when and how. How much left in your salary cap ?  Curious why you didn't pick Dangerfield. My thinking is that he will be free'd up by Cameron's inclusion. Hawkins and Cameron leading and marking with Danger having more mid time and being laes accountable up forward. But against that Danger usually drops price considerably at some stage of the season. Good luck with what is a very good start.

This team is a really good first up effort obviously this is very dependent on cheap rookies lining up round one.

Ladhams is an interesting selection. He had a strong finish to last season so it’ll be interesting to see if he keeps up the pace.

All other selections are no brainers.

Hope we get all the cheap rookies playing round one and then we’ll both be laughing.

• J Kelly to Danger - expect more mid time with Higgins and Cameron in fwds.
• T Mitchell to Taranto -based on injury information possibly delaying start to season.
• Rookie to Rowell - weight of expectation got to me  :D :D
• Heeney to Daniher - got me cash to do rookie to Rowell.  Expecting Rowell to at least match Heeney as worst case.

Looks reasonable, batting 6 mid keepers if Rowell actually makes good.
Heeney is generally up and down and can upgrade to him.   Should make cash and points off Daniher.
Taranto is 23yrs old  5th season,  avg 100+ in 2019 expect him to step up to 110+ this year.   Good Value play.     More injury risk with Williams over Laird,  though we all expect williams scoring to improve as a mid with Carlton.

Ladhams has shown he can score well as ruck/fwd and will keep getting better.   Key forward in my team means I have run out of potential mid/fwd options.   Not a Key Fwd selector normally.  Too up and down for my liking.

Not sure about Ladhams at that price! Unless Lycett goes down, I can't see him getting a premium score. Perhaps you could downgrade Lloyd to a cheaper premium like Stewart and then upgrade Ladhams?

Agree with the comments on Ladhams. You may have reasons but do not see him playing all games. Not sure of your cash situation and assuming little would move Danger to Forward line gain another mid a few around that price as well.  Crouch at Saints and Keays to step up for example. To get the M/F there are a number of rookies with it that more than likely will play. Cockatoo and Hurchins to name 2.

Good point,  at the moment I like him as a POD,   may reassess closer to rnd 1.  Cash is 115K in the bank.   Depending on circumstances could turn into Heeney (same price point), Ziebel cash grab,   move Danger to fwds and go for mid midpricer.   Lot of flexibility really.

• Pruess>Gawn.
• Ladhams to Rookie - free up cash

Team has 12 prems if Rowell is included.   6 great C/VC choices in Lloyd, Neale, Oliver, Macrea, Gawn Grundy
