Torpedo10

Moscow trade: Mason Redman + David Astbury
Christchurch trade: Nat 13

Not doing our backline any favours here, especially losing Redman AND Astbury, but I'm planning to be pretty bored in December so you can bet I'll want to take a lot of picks. Gives Koop a lot of cap too.

Koop to confirm.

Confirmed.

Recoups the cap lost by trading Cotchin and then some. Banking on Redman to bounce back with the loss of Saad, while Astbury is purely cap and a starting body.

upthemaidens

Pacific Trade:  Michael Hurley

Sad to see Hurls go, but happy to hit the draft.    Daz to confirm

Koop

#51
Christchurch trade: Pick 1 + Mark Blicavs
New York trade: Xavier Duursma + Isaac Quaynor + Tom McDonald + Louis Buttler

Reasoning: Similar reasons to last year. Looking to diversify and grab pieces that will be around in 5-10 years time, while also not tanking my cap in the process. It has been an incredibly diificult thing to try and navigate this year, given the value of picks and the fact that my most valuable player also holds the most cap I have, by a considerable margin.

Most will know I'm a big fan of X, averaged 75 uninjured in his second year, and looks to have locked down a spot in a very good team for the next decade, Isaac averaged similar, and are two pieces to build around moving forward. Those two are probably better than Pick 1 this year in terms of value, at least in my opinion.

Blitz has been an incredible servant for Church, and given his background, probably has 3-4 years left. However I'm looking to the future. Taking a punt that TMac can recapture a bit of his best form, and I liked the very little we saw of Buttler this year.

RD to confirm

Confirmed

Can't believe I'm trading Duursma, and IQ as well, but I'm prepared to take Picks 1 and 2 into this mystery draft

Blicavs is a whopping 10 years older then Duurs and IQ, but he does have a small chance of being R which I need with my Geelong rucks, and if not, he'll still be a great defender for a few more years

iZander

Tokyo Samurai give: Jayden Short + N5 + N49
Buenos Aires Armadillos give: Jacob Hopper + Oliver Florent + Connor Buddarick

Hate to see these guys go particularly hopper go but my mid can cope and bringing in a defender like short will help the team.

New York trade: Dan Houston + Ned Cahill
Beijing trade: Jy Simpkin + Fischer McAsey

Pretty straight forward trade. Jing need a defender and I need a mid - similar ages and averages per position line up.

We both felt that Houston was worth fractionally more so we chucked in the small Fish/Karl swap

Urbs to confirm

Confirm. Obviously Simpkin has lots of potential, but potential won't win a flag. We need a good defender to have any chance of a premiership, and Houston fills that need for us. Hopefully our mids can pick up the slack next year to cover for Simpkin.

Confirmed. Need some more mids and see improvement to come in all three of these guys.

Nige

Cairo trade: N25 + N27
PNL trade: Hayden Crozier + Changkuoth Jiath

I honestly don't mind this draft, but with Shane Edwards looking likely to lose DPP and be mid only, Karen's D4 becomes a bit sketchy. PNL are blessed to have about seven options for D4 so Crozier is someone they were willing to part with. I've been a long time fan of CJ when not many are, there's some potential there and I think there's scope for him to improve.

Daz to confirm.

Confirmed, with Hurley coming on board and a few other options for D4 crozier wasn’t a needed piece
We have a good history with picks in the 20’s so will come in handy at the draft or trade table

GoLions

Kate gives: Sam Collins
Seoul gives: Liam Shiels + Jamie Elliott

I really rate Collins so sad to see him go, however i need a bit more depth in mids, and now forwards as well after Ebert retired  :'(

JB to confirm.
