Also kind of annoying that the round 15 mega bye round is bypassed and they are giving extra trades... it’s really only benefitting the casuals who don’t research and are trade happy burning through as many possible in the earl rounds

Finals will start in Round 14 and skip a round before continuing in Round 16. This dodges the most treacherous bye round when six teams â€" Geelong, Gold Coast, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs â€" all have the week off, avoiding SuperCoach elimination finals being decided purely on the number of players available â€" or unavailable â€" that week.

The three extra trades will be added to the season total, which now stands at 37.

Note that next round also features an extra trade to account for the current footy frenzy.

Remember that's only for leagues. Round 15 still counts towards overall rank.

Any thoughts on how this will affect your strategy?

If you’re going for league wins do you even bother with bench cover knowing it’s best 18 for half of SC finals?

Have been smart with my trades all year and played the game using good strategy and they just hand more trades out every few weeks and make it all pointless  ::) I'll still have about 8 trades left with a complete team. Reckon they'll let me carry them into next year?  :P
