If the last 4 rounds are best 18, do we just need to try and get close to a full strength team?

Is it viable to try and loop rookies and sideways bye premiums?

Just looking at my team and I currently need 2 mids and 1 fwd to "complete" my team and thinking about getting some cash in the bank to allow for management and byes towards the end of the season.

Thoughts?

Will know more today as fixture is released and we can start planning.   I can see myself in finals downgrading players to 102 non playing rookies to get in superprems with the cash if it is best 18.

Hmmmm that's interesting.

If it's best 18 for the last few rounds, I might try and upgrade the likes of Wingard, instead of complete a team traditionally.

I was looking at having just one forward and one defender to bring in after this week, but perhaps it's worth getting as good of a '20' as you can, and forget the last few.

Food for thought..

EDIT: It'll of course depend which players you have out each round, but can keep the extra trades to move players on when they have that bye

Silly question, but do they give us more trades for these bye rounds? I'm trying to conserve them currently, but won't bother if we get more than the 34 already given.   :o

Or I could use any extra trades to load up on Melb/Ess players for their supposedly stand alone game?

They have not said yet. I am assuming (rightly or wrongly) that they will!

One would assume that there will be a couple more trades added to the list.
Also there isn't a stand alone melb/ess game. That was just counted as a bye.

thanks bro, I see they play rnd 18 which makes it very little advantage to those that have them.

I reckon we will get 4 more trades - just to be consistent with what they have done already this season.

I can imagine hoards of angry SC coaches with pitchforks outside herald sun HQ chanting  “4 more trades, 4 more trades”

They better do it
