Thought I may as well start this thread seeing that it starts in 2 days :P

Was planning to bring in Dusty + Shuey, with a downgrade as well, however it will be touch and go as to whether I can afford that.

If I can't, I may look to bring Oscar McInerney or Wingard as a value pick in the forwards. I really like Oscar as a pick with both Stef and Archie out for 5-6 weeks. However Wingard is probably the better option seeing as he has had a bye already. I think he will be played more up the ground again with Breust back in the team.

Also, anyone else think Grundy may get a rest in Rd.11? No Cameron or Cox so Grundy will ruck alone today. Short turnaround, lots of flights, perhaps Cameron is being rested ready to ruck in Rd.11?

Gawn also in doubt to play Rd.11 and if Draper plays tomorrow, surely he must be a chance to get "managed" in Rd.11 given the quick turnarounds and he's coming off an ACL?

In that scenario, my only ruckman playing would be Darcy Cameron, who is in my forwrards :o Lucky it's only best 18!

If Grundy is going to get a rest, then I hope it's Round 11

We have Draper as cover, and it's only Best 18 so this would be perfect

Even if both Draper and Grundy missed, Best 18, so way better than happening the week after in a normal round lol

Then again, if Grundy is rested, surely Cameron comes in for him

Yeah you'd think so, but a lot of people having Draper at R3 now, you can't swing Cameron in (Again, best 18 round is ideal)

I really wanted Cameron to play this week as I just wanted 1 more price rise out of him but there's every chance I trade him this week, even with his negative BE

Was going to trade Rankine out for Draper and swing Cameron in forwards, but with Cameron out, I prefer to give Rankine one last go this week to see if he can pump out a decent score and reassess next round. If he loses a bit of cash then so be it.

Even if Cameron plays next week, he most likely won't be in our top 18 anyway.

Cameron would need to pump out a highish score to make any more decent coin now anyway. If he gets his predicted score of 54 for the next three rounds that he actually plays, he will make $30k, $5K and $4k. Not much to wait for, and it could be less.

Getting in Titch next week, hoping he can find his 2018 form. The weeks after possibly Zac Williams and Fyfe. Really need some cheapish premo options in the forward line who have already had their bye (i already have the cheap players in Simpkin/Baz). It hurts not owning both Petracca and Greenwood. Whats worse is that i traded Brayshaw and he has made over 150k and averaging 102  :'(

If he plays without Grundy (as first Ruck) then I'm hoping for a big score, which could also kickstart his cash generation again.

Watch him get named with Cox next week if Grundy is out, but you do make a good point.

Think there were a lot of us who traded Brayshaw. I also traded Houston right before he went on that run of 100+ scores!

Still a good decision to trade Houston seems too inconsistent.

shaker

Cripps coming in R11 to cheap to ignore.

Samsturmfels

although i probably wouldn't get him, Sier is a huge Pod @ 242k atm.

Rusty00

Well the figures worked out in my favour and I can afford the original trades I was thinking of:

Pickett > Dusty
Simpson > Schoenberg
Rankine > Shuey

Part of me really wants to take a punt on Big O, especially as he has English this week. It would mean I need to make all 3 trades today though, which feels risky, although Best 18 with only 2 bye teams softens the risk I feel.

Devon Smith is a cheapish premolar option now  :P
