Yep, that's why it's important not to commit to a trade unless you know the player you pick is going to play.  It does mention that in the SC new rules, with respect to team annoucements.

Thinking Walters to petracca atm as Walters misses 2 games and petracca doesn’t have a bye this year. Low BE too. Should be well over 600k, you think petracca or move a close to me forward line and pick up a midfielder like Oliver?

Their last game in the schedule is on 16th Aug, he might be right by then, and for me I'd rather get replace him now with either Lloyd/Sicily/Haynes - thinking Haynes as he's the cheaper out of the 3, or I could move him to forward and get Whitfield via Brander and get McPherson.

So it comes down to Haynes and Rankine on field vs Whitfield and McPherson. Thinking the first option will score better.

Doedee was close this week, so I'm thinking he will be back next week otherwise Stewart has a very high BE, so next week is a great time to get him.

Have been able to trade whilst a game has been on for years. No reason it would have changed.

Wasn't 100% sure it's not something I've had to worry about. With only 24hrs notice on teams I'm aiming to trade late as I can.
