Round 8

There will be a partial lockout for this round, all Gold Coast and Bulldogs players will be locked out on Thursday 23th July at 7:40pm AEST. There is no loopholing allowed in the competition.

Full lockout will on Saturday 25th July at the start of the North v Carlton game 1:05pm AEST

Please post your full team before the Gold Coast v Bulldogs game then repost any changes you have after the partial lockout into a new post

Draw with first mentioned teams having the HGA

Oxford Lions v Leeds Leeches
12th v 5th - Musat win game for the Lions to stay in touch. Leeches have been building nicely and are favoured here,
Blackpool Bunnies v Swansea Breakers
15th v 16th - Wooden Spoon battle!! Breakers nearly caused an upset last week againt the Hoods. If that form is maintained should get over the Bunnies
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Huddersfield Hawks
11th v 15th - A must win game for the Hedgies to maintain contact and am tipping them to shoot down the Hawks,
Nottingham Hoods v Birmingham Dragons
4th v 6th Chance here for Hoods to consolidate position in the Top 4. Both teams have injury concerns and with the Home Ground Advantage think the Hoods will prevail. Possible game of the round,
Manchester Magic v Staines Steins
13th v 2nd Will the Steins have a let down after their tough clash with the ladder leaders Giants. Hard to see anything but a Steins win but will need to have their mind on this game.
Bradford Badgers v Hastings Hurricanes
10th v 7th Another contender for match of the round. Both teams will be desperate to keep in touch. Hurricanes have the better attack wheas Badgers have the better defence. Going with the Badgers here to come home with home crowd cheering them on.
Grope Lane Giants v Wrexham Knights
1st v 3rd - hard to see the Knights holding the Giants free flowing attack, Giants will relish the chance to put further disatance on another challenger after disposing of Steins last week.
Liverpool Rams v Winchester Werewolves
9th v 8th My match of the round. Little separates these 2 teams and both will be desperate to maintain contact. Possibly favour Rams here with the HGA
