Ended up holding Starc and I'll probably make the same trades but use Brown instead. It just means I blow through my entire bankroll

With teams named and staring at a defensive doughnut my planned trades went out the window.
Could have brought in Maynard but went Hurn. Got Aarts too.

and having to field him makes this worse

Changing Approach and going to pass on Aarts to double upgrade. Looks like there are going to be some good downgrade options next week

Ingram

How much do we think Duncan drops?

bkimm32

Well with Rivers and Brown out I had no choice but to keep Starc other than to cop a donut by trading him

Thanks for nothing buddy.

Blues Blues Blues

What does everyone think of Hibberd at the Dees?

Priced at $379k and has posted 79, 75 and 103. He was a top 6 defender at one stage [a few years ago I know].

Having 2 donuts in defence has me looking at options.

Hill the other option, and a lot cheaper, but not sold on his scoring potential?

Both are 30 so no spring chickens [says me, the 40+ yr old].

Dear God No, don't touch Hibberd

I toyed with the Hibberd idea too, but I reached the conclusion that his good years were more the anomaly than the rule. Even when he scored well, I always thought his body type didn't look great. Of course there have been plenty of players that don't LOOK like elite athletes but have performed consistently. I know he's had a bad run of injuries, but I ended up going Hill after his first game (which was when I was considering mid-priced Hibberd). I think Hill has more scoring potential than Hibberd, I'm more worried about Hill's injury risk, but his price was what made me pull the trigger on him versus Hibberd. Hill is still cheap and has a low breakeven this week.

That's a much more succinct way of saying what I said. Haha!

North Melbournes Finest

At the moment looking at
