Louis Butler to debut this week. Another DEF/MID which is very handy

117.3k
Perfect combo with Rivers  8)

And Starc :)

Dmoney$

Lads/lass’s need help

Trade out Roberton for Hamill and Darcy Cameron for Pittonet

Or

Trade out Roberton for Doddee and Toby Green for Simpkin? (But then miss the Pittonet boat)

Not sure what to do this week.

Being considered

1.  Whitfield to Petracca,  Sturt to Naismith (R3) sit on Cumming at D7,  wait on Harley until next week
2.  Whitfield to Butler, Sturt to Naismith (R3) sit on Cumming, wait on Harley until next week
3.  Keep Whitfield, Sturt to Naismith (R3) Cumming to Bennell and Brander swings back,
4,  Miss out on Naismith and do the Whitfield to Butler/Petracca and Cumming to Bennell trades.

Thoughts are :  Petracca will be a keeper,  Pittonet to Whitfield in 3 weeks time when Whitfield bottoms and Pitt tops out
Butler will gen more cash than Petracca but will be an upgrade and another trade I need.    Rowell looks like being at worst M8 by end of year.  Another trade saved.   Will lost 30-40k on not doing Bennell this week.  But will still be a viable option to trade in next week and gen cash up to low 300's for future upgrade.

So option 1 looks best long term result for the team.

Team after trades:
Sicily, Doc, H Clark, Ridley, Noble, Starevich, [cumming, BZT]
Neale, Macrea, Mitchell, Sloane, Dusty, Viney, Rowell, T Rivers [Marlon P, T Brown, JMac]
Grundy, Pittonet [Naismith]
Simpkin, D Smith, Petracca, C Taylor, Brander, Buderick [Rankine, Xerri]

I think you've already missed the Pitto boat

Option 2 sounds much better

Grundy, Pittonet [Naismith]
Simpkin, D Smith, Petracca, C Taylor, Brander, Buderick [Rankine, Xerri]

I wouldn't go near Butler, and I'm not sure Naismith is a great option too considering Sinkers is now in the side as well

I'd be using this week to cut the duds and make sure you've got all the cash cows

Whitfield and Cumming are the two I'd probably punt

Maybe Cumming to Bennell via Rivers and Whitfield to premo Mid (swing Dusty back fwd)

A few options for me this week.

Houston to any defender. (Im not a fan of any options here)
Danger to Any mid (Danger is just too good to not bounce back. He hasn't averaged under 105 for 8 years, worry for me is his tackle numbers have dropped substantially)
Grundy to any mid (Naismith & Pittonent on field with Ceglar cover and lets me avoid Grundy's price drops, would be a make or break move)
Whitfield to any Fwd or Mid (Bigdrop in price expected and still not sure if he will play)
Sturt to Bennell and Smith back to forwards (Sturt injury and gets Bennell in as a bench option in mids)

Thoughts as given Naismith I need to decide tonight to risk or not. I think its worth putting it all on the line given this season anything can happen.

I'm going whitfield to Naismith, benching Naismith to see how he goes tonite. My second trade will be after tonites game. Naismith only has to run out tonite to get a pay rise, so at very least he should be a good cash cow. Whenever I doubt Grundy, he produces the goods, but I eventually will get it right.

Yeah im hoping Cameron isn't named and I can just loophole Naismith (If he goes Huge then trade out Grundy). Cameron named just causes me to worry a bit about benching a player that could easily score 100+

Pretty sure that's a given Cox to replace him from what I've read as for trades Rivers to come in for BZT Cameron to someone not sure just yet maybe Georgiades if named.

I disagree. Cameron will be dropped for Cox and Pitto still has plenty of cash to make and can be swapped to a premo in a month. Green will most likely be back (pending teams).

IntegralX

Locked my trades in.

Whitfield > B. Smith, Cavarra > Williamson via Brander.

Walters to mids as I want Brander on the park, looping McInerney tonight vs Bennell (assuming Robertson isn't named), Williamson vs Rivers (assuming BZT isn't named).

EA100

DEF: Howe, Laird, Docherty, Doedee, Starcevich, Noble (Brander, Rivers)
MID: Neale, Fyfe, Cripps, Bontempelli, Yeo, Rowell, Pickett (Bennell, McInerny, Budarick)
RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Xerri)
FWD: Whitfield, Martin, D. Smith, C. Taylor, Sturt, King (D. Cameron, Rankine)

50k left

Not really sure what to do here, gut feeling is to go Gawn/Grundy to Pittonet which gives me 450k roughly to go Sturt/Cameron up to any premo forward leaving me with a decent amount of cash for next week which is good. Only noticeable rookie off the top of my head that will go up in price this week that I might get is Williamson. which could be done by swinging Brander forward. What do you lads think?

LordSneeze

So far outs are

Cameron
Jacobs
Caldwell
Pickett
Bennell
Sturt

So that tells me.
I can loophole Naismith into a Grundy trade
I can Loophole Mcinerney & Brown with Pickett
Bennell will not be traded in.

No decisions need to be made until tomorrow.

Samsturmfels

due to all of the outs i now only have 3/8 rookies on bench playing which is not good. Trading in sturt and cameron in the last two weeks has not been a good return.

im pretty keen on going long - simpkin

for my second trade i need to trade in a rookie belong 141k.

I was wondering who is the best rookie either on the bubble or playing their first game this week? (preferably a midfielder)

Bit of a lottery not a great deal on the bubble Rivers has to be the best the first gamers well all you can do is pick one and hope for the best but 5 of them are in Sunday games so need to wait till tomorrow.
