Rd 3 Lodgement and Banter thread

So we are getting back into the season.  Remember the Top 4 will take on greater significance this year with only a 4 team finals in place.

So on to Rd 3.

Teams to be lodged in this thread by  bounce Hawks v Tigers on Thursday
Rolling lock out will be in effect till bounce of first Saturday Game. Captains and Vice Captains however will be locked at bounce of Thursday game.  To ensure no loopholing teams are to be posted in thread prior to Thursday lockout and changes also recorded but as new post/quote in thread.  Also remember if changing Captains or Vice Captains prior to lockout in UF to also recotd in thread as the postings in thread will be taken as correct at lock out.

To assist Admin remember to also update UF with changes.

Draw for Rd 3 with first named team having the HGAm
Bradford Badgers v Oxford Lions
7th v 12th, Badgers are coming off a high scoring Rd 2, Can they keep it up against the Lions?  Will the Lions give Noah Anderson another start?  Hard to see Lions getting over the Badgers though.
Grope Lane Giants v Manchester Magic
1st v 14th Should be an easy win for the Giants.  However Magic have the cattle to cause an upset if all play to their ability and spend majority of TOG (Sloane hurt them last week). Still Giants for me.
Nottingham Hoods v Liverpool Rams
11th v 15th - Hoods favoured here. Will Hoods ruck be given more time on ground this week to counter the Goldstein factor? Result will depend on the efforts of the players 12 - 15 and this is where Hoods may have the edge.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Winchester Werewolves
8th v 10th - Probably game of the round with little separating these 2 teams. May come down to the correct choice of captain.
Not with a lot of confidence going Hedgies with the HGA
Blackpool Bunnies v Wrexham Knights
13th v 2nd - On paper should be an easy win for the Knights and hard to see any other result.
Leeds Leeches v Hastings Hurricanes
6th v 9th - Another contender for match of the round.  Another match which will probably come down to choice of captain and HGA, So slightly favouring Leeches here.
Swansea Breakers v Staines Steins
4th v 16th - No comment here and should be an easy win to Steins with their Gawn, Grundy combo.
Huddersfield Hawks v Birmingham Dragons
3rd v 5th Yet another contender for match of the round here. Dragons scraped home against the Leeches with HGA last week and the Hawks struggled against the Breakers early only to run away in the 4th quarter. Think the dragons may get up but will have to content with the Hawks home crowd.
