Your first pack, regardless of what you select, will contain 1 x Silver (or higher) Ruckman
Beyond that, there are no guarantees for rucks, other than the purchase of a Ruck pack.
Fragment packs cannot be purchased until End of AFL Round 2

For the sake of eliminating confusion with the AFL fixture, the first UTG week will also be referred to as Round 2

Platinum Trade-In Restrictions
With each Gold to Platinum exchange, the number of gold cards necessary to be exchanged for a platinum card will increase by one. The first exchange requires 7 gold cards. As below,
1st Exchange: Trading in 7 gold tier cards will get you 1 platinum tier card
2nd Exchange: Trading in 8 gold tier cards will get you 1 platinum tier card
3rd Exchange: Trading in 9 gold tier cards will get you 1 platinum tier card… and so on

Will this go backwards if we sell a Platinum card?

I was a little conflicted on this point when adding the new rules from discussions at EOS last year. Although I view it as intended for situations when you pull a dud platinum and sell for 50G, pulling platinums from a pack and then selling throws a bit of a spanner in the works with the suggested system. The short, and arguably cruel answer is no for this season.

Please note a small change to the exchange rate of bronze cards for gold. The thread initially said 3G until the end of Round 2, as per previous seasons. However, as AFL Round 2 is our first round, I have adjusted this to be Round 3, as the rule was intended and as per previous seasons  :)

So, you can sell bronze cards for 3G until the conclusion of AFL Round 3

Also, returning players may have noticed that top 10 draftees are bronze rather than silver this year. This was... unintentional, but will remain for this season. As always, it doesn't really matter what tier a card is, so long as it is the same for everyone  ;)

Just on top of this one, it was just raised with me whether exchanging golds from one club for a platinum under our club sets would have an impact on the above increasing platinum rule. To encourage the completion of the sets, a gold to platinum club set exchange will not increase the number of gold cards needed in a 'traditional' exchange for a platinum

At the conclusion of next week, Captain Cards and Extra Player cards will be promoted to silver tier, so they are a little rarer in packs to reflect strengthening teams

A reminder also that this is the last week in which bronze trade-ins yield 3G
