A simple game...

The lowest scoring team is eliminated each week, until we have a winner!

You can get immunity from elimination if you had the highest score the week before (up until round 10) - in which case the 2nd lowest scoring team is eliminated.

So, who has what it takes to be World Idol?

Eliminated Teams
R1: Christchurch Saints (1031)
R2: London Royals (1117)
R3: Mexico City (1228)
R4: New York (1137)
R5: Toronto (1178)
R6: Berlin (1179)
R7: Rio de Janeiro (1235)
R8: Buenos Aires (1171)
R9: New Delhi (1212)
R10: Cairo (1257)
R11: Moscow (1278)
R12: Tokyo (1270)
R13: Dublin (1285)
R14: PNL (1383)
R15: Beijing (1305)
R16: Cape Town (1359)
R17: Pacific (1511)
Winner: Seoul (1528)

And yes, I will be enforcing elimination-by-vague-Simpsons quote again. It's a natural pairing with Idol now.

A lot of progress was made in the off-season, but Christchurch (1031) still has a long way to go. This comes across as harsh, but I feel like it could be best said by Holz :P

Our eliminated team this week has had a rough start to the year, with London (1117) struggling to find form from its new players...

WXVs: "You are fielding, a young, highly sought-after midfielder/forward, wearing a Gold Coast outfit"

London: "Oh, I am, am I? Is that what you think? Well, if that is what you think I have something to tell you. Something that may shock and discredit you. And that thing is as follows. I'm not fielding Darcy MacPherson at all... "

Of course, with simultaneous rounds comes simultaneous exits.

There were soooo many teams neck-and-neck for this one, but we say farewell to New Delhi (1223) who were quick to take a memo regarding VC Stefan Martin's 38...

What's this?!

After later finding out that I forgot to include HGA, Round 3's eliminated team is actually Mexico City (1228)

The below I think follows beautifully from my previous post.

Round 4

New York (1137) had to move out of World Idol once they filled the stat sheet with garbage.

Purple 77

Round 5

Toronto (1178) were moved out of World Idol, because...

Purple 77

Round 6

Berlin (1179) aren't all smiles and sunshine.

Purple 77

Round 7

Rio de Janeiro (1235) letting down the proud Sao Paulo heritage

Purple 77

Round 8

It must have been a simultaneous round, because Buenos Aires (1171)...

Purple 77

Round 9

For a team that finished 17th, New Delhi (1212) made a solid fist of it and certainly tried their best. But learned a valuable lesson...

Purple 77

Round 10

Cairo (1257) suffered from a huge dip in form from a particular forward this year, who scored 29 in this fateful round...

Purple 77

Round 11

A good Idol campaign from Moscow (1278), would you like to play another?

Purple 77

Round 12

Tokyo (1270) had a good thing going until Brayden Ham (21) stuffed it all up.
