All have similar dilemas Matt. Brander to Aarts netts a nice 112k profit for upgrades.  I am looking at that but awaiting injury reports and teams. Not alone with similar thoughts on Parker and Treloar.
Although Starc has the high B/e his position is secure at the moment so may want to look at those with less JS. Starc has taken Witherdens role and would need a drastic drop off to lose it.

Interested to know your thoughts on the forwards, especially as no mention of Martin?
For me I am carrying Martin and have lucked in with Simpkin and Butler
I would love to add Whitfield to the mix just worried about the injuries that he seems to pick up
But once you add him who next?
Brayshaw (Fremantle)?

Starcevich may also bleed cash and being the highest priced he seems the most logical. Brown will hopefully sit on my bench and if Pickett returns I can afford the slow burn. Same with Budarick.

Is there also a reason Starcevich couldn't find the pill at all? Looking at the tracker it felt like he was on donuts the first quarter.

Whitfield this week, Smith from the Dogs in a fortnight when he bottoms out. It would give me Simpkin, Whitfield, Trac and Smith x2 with one spot to fill.

I started with Dustin but traded when he got injured. Now that they're moving out of Melbourne I don't know if it's worth bringing him in. I'd be curious to see his scores outside of the MCG. I'd lean towards Walters who's about to head home for a crazy run of games.

Yep Matt - Starcevich  Donuts in first quarter just one of the cases where he was where the ball was not.  Came into it with 4 tackles and 3 intercept marks. Has a B/e of 70 so may not bleed a lot of cash.  Either way probably as you say near his peak and makes sense to trade if all falls your way.  Rookie hell the last few weeks.

I think your initial trade plans are fine. Whitfield and Yeo in. Could always go Selwood to Yeo instead of Starc, I don't know what Selwood's BE is but if he's not a keeper for you then yeah look to ship him. Then use the cash next week :)

I ended up holding Starcevich and trading Brown. I figured it may be worth having the extra defensive rookie that was playing but I didn't expect him to score THAT bad.

I scored 1977 and moved up the rankings to 12435 with Doc captain and Hayden Young on field. My team at the end of the round

Doc, Sicily, Ridley, Starcevich, Young, Williamson (Brander, Rivers)
Cripps, Macrae, Danger, Bont, Kelly, Selwood, Yeo, Pickett (Bennell, Budarick, McInerney)
Grundy, Nic Nat (Pittonet)
Simpkin, Petracca, Whitfield, Smith, Hill, Taylor (King, Cameron)

Trades for this week will likely be Young and Taylor to Rankine and Simpson. It will leave me with the following

Doc, Sicily, Ridley, Starcevich, Hill, Williamson (Brander, Rivers)
Cripps, Macrae, Danger, Bont, Kelly, Selwood, Yeo, Pickett (Bennell, Simpson, McInerney)
Grundy, Nic Nat (Pittonet)
Simpkin, Petracca, Whitfield, Smith, King, Rankine (Budarick, Cameron)

384k in the bank and I can do Pitto/Nic Nat to the Dogs Smith and Starcevich to a defensive premium potentially next week.

Solid Trades and nice bank for next week.  Just need to ensure Starcis named this week or Brander or Rivers start,

Selwood injured meant I'd get a bit more aggressive. I was going to do Nic Nat to Smith but with Cameron locked out that meant I couldn't do that. Ended up passing on Rankine and pulled the trigger on Taylor to Smith a week early.
