To anyone who caught the Crows/Eagles game, how did McPherson look?

Didn’t see the game, but he got 76 from 9 touches, 5 cp’s, 88%DE. Averaged 132 and 27 disposals in his last full season in SANFL.
Simpson’s AFL history doesn’t have him anywhere near what he did on the weekend.
I’m taking the punt on McPherson and Rankine.
I do need a defense rookie desperately though!

All 6 games from 3 years ago lol

Won their VFL B&F last year - clearly improved since his first AFL run in 2017

Ned Cahill to debut for the Bombers. DPP handy Mid/Fwd $117k

missed out on Simpson due to Fyfe being out. Anyone else in the same situation?

I was also going to overlook Simpson until 5 minutes before the game and then changed my mind. Was looking like a bad move at the start and then Selwood went down, which helped Simpson.

I did but a mistake on my part forgot to confirm trade of Taylor to Simpson being interupted by phone call and missed deadline so now awaiting teams to see which two I bring in now.  Have Willimason (extended bench) and McAsay (Crows) plus Brander and Rivers as rookie defenders.
See how much Simpson rises this week as still may be beneficial to go Taylor to Simpson next week.

I ended up trading Fyfe to Simpson

Simpson looks like he might continue to score well, at least better than most other rookies, so worth looking at getting him next round.

Didn't look that good last night and was pleasantly suprised at this overall SC score.   Bottom line is he is now going to make 120-150 plus and we can trade him profitably.  If he keeps scoring well then even better.

First half was sitting in the forward line and supply wasn't that good, but spent some time on the ball in the second half. He seems to make good decisions when he gets the ball, so his DE would have been high, plus he kicked a goal which helped.
Also don't forget it was wet at times during the match. I have Fort and Parfitt in my draft team and they also struggled to score well in the wet.

Simpson is also more of a receiver as opposed to winning the contested ball. Given Collingwood were all over Geelong most of the night, there wasn't as much ball coming his way. Hopefully another 27 possessions next week against Freo ;)

Any decent rookies out there this week to bring in? Need some cash generation from forking out for Gawn and a lot of dead weight on the bench!

Simpson > Day are your best bets, Rankine played last night otherwise he'd be the #1 option.

McKay?
MacPherson if he makes the cut (even though you missed a price rise) should be getting a few more games from what I have seen of him.
