How are you fellas ranking the top 10 or so mids, in terms of who we should start with?

I'm having a tough time splitting them...

Macrae
Neale
Fyfe
Kelly
Cripps
Dunkley
Mitchell
Danger
Bont
Oliver

Can't decide on 5 I'm happy with starting without feeling like I'm missing out on the others!

You'd have to think you can't go wrong with starting any of those 5

Who do you feel like you're missing on? Everyone below them I'd expect won't match that top group (Although there usually is one or two that jump up, and likewise 1 or 2 from that Top 10 that drop out)

Treloar is the other one who would challenge the top 10 generally speaking, but with his hammy tweak on the weekend I would stay away.

Have excluded Fyfe, Kelly, Mitchell due to either injury prone or recovering from injury.
Excluded Danger as high probability of getting him at cheaper cost around the byes.

Tossing up between Bont and Dunkley to go with Macrae, Neale, Cripps, Oliver

Taranto out until at least the end of the bye rounds. Does this make Cogs and even Whitfield more attractive?

Hately could be the guy but he is too expensive at 300k and won't average enough. He was everywhere on the weekend and played the majority of the game through the guts.

Where was his game time last year when we needed the bugger?

Southstorm

Titch looks fantastic tonight. Unbelievable from a guy that wasn't even training with the main group in Jan.

Going to bring up my guy Andrew Gaff again. Looked awesome, ultra consistent, and iirc has never missed a game due to injury. Unsexy pick, but as good a chance to finish top 10 as anyone else. Plus, the way the rookies are going we might need a Gaff/Cogs/Oliver/Zerrett type at the start, especially the GG players.

Mat0369

Yup, Gaff and Yeo I'm struggling to split. I think I prefer Yeo in SC just for the contested possession numbers. I'm pretty happy with my midfield of Macrae, Neale, Kelly, Cripps and Mitchell though.

The other one I'm keeping an eye on is Luke Parker. He had a purple patch last year when Kennedy was injured. If Kennedy looks to move out of the middle a little bit or gets injured I think he provides a nice value pick.

Tell me I’m stupid for having Viney sitting at m5 currently.

Anyone else rate him? Looks fit as f&$k

Had him sitting there for a couple of days but chickened out he was very good in the last Marsh game very hard at it , get the feeling he might overstep the mark with his aggression.
