Honestly I don’t see it. I’d rather pay the extra 40k for ROB who has a much safer floor and higher ceiling by virtue of simply playing more minutes (and also not having anyone behind him), or go all the way down to Jacobs and grab an extra premium elsewhere.

If you’re into injury prone rucks you’re better off looking at Kreuzer imo.

ROB is a trap at his price. I broke down the Nic Nat numbers a couple pages back. He will ton up from about 60% TOG due to his hit outs to advantage numbers. He is also worth the extra cash over Jacobs who is on the decline and  I think scores in the 85 range at best.

Disagree about ROB being a trap. Young, ascending and most importantly has 0 threat to his job. He’ll be on the ground 85% of the game every game at least.

I read your post re:NN. You’re right he can ton up from 60ish% game time but he’s going to max out at 65%. By picking NN you’re capping your ceiling as well as taking on a very significant injury risk. You’re also exposing yourself to potentially a very low floor. The volume simply isn’t there and that combined with his injury history enough to strike him out for me.

I’d rather spend the extra 50k for Kreuzer if I was looking at injury prone rucks.

I think that's a little bit of a stretch, could see him contend for 3rd or 4th best ruckman, the question is the gap between 2nd and 3rd/4th in terms of points.  I'd expect Gawn to go 115-125 and ROB to go 95-110

Naismith 79 SC from 55% TOG in a smashing $251500 handy at R3 if you can afford that much or good enough for R2 ?

Can't put 250k on the bench, so has to be R2 or nothing

He did better than Sauce, so I guess the Sauce owners are now looking to go with Naismith instead?  ;D

Very tempting for R3 but it means no Gawn at 251K he could make some serious cash if he stays fit , something to muck around with over the next week or two.

Problem with ROB is he has yet to prove himself capable against number 1 rucks. All tons last year were against 2nd/3rd rucks or part time ruck options. He could take this miraculous next step in 2020 but on what I have seen last year couldn't touch him.

Spot on SL, free cash up for other lines,  except Cameron won't start.   Pity Essendon didn't get Cameron would love to see him starting ruck for us.    Great for Bombers and my SC team.

Hypothetically speaking, if Sincalir was to go down with a season ending injury, who would start Naismith over Gawn?
