Cairo give: Andrew McGrath + N12
Seoul give: Tom J Lynch + N30

This was a hard decision for us. We never planned to trade McGrath unless there was an offer we thought was really solid. We’re still big fans but it’s been a frustrating 3 years and I have no doubt he’ll become a gun like most Cairo draftees once they move on. However, this trade period has been all about us sorting out our forward line and TJ Lynch’s ability is hard to doubt. He’s gone 83, 88, 93, 85 at GC from 2014-2017 and went 91 after the bye this year once fully fit. He really secures our forward line now and into the future.

JB to confirm.

Confirmed, alright up forward so needed to strengthen my defense a little and like the potential I see in McGrath.

New York trade: NAT Pick 40
Buenos Aires trade: NAT Pick 25

iZ and I made a bet back in Round 2 that the winner would give their first round pick to the loser. Purps then said that using 1st round picks for this bet was too much, so we changed it to the winner receiving the loser's 2nd for their 3rd

NY beat BA that week, so I'm giving my 3rd and iZ is giving his 2nd. We'd appreciate if everyone just autopassed this, as a bet is a bet

iZander and I have made a wager for our match which we would like to be honoured at the trade period later in the year, so we ask that all coaches pass the trade when submitted

We're both rebuilding and have several injuries this week so this is going to be messy, but we're up for the gamble!

The winner of our match will be trading their 2nd round NAT Pick to the loser, and the loser will be trading their 1st round NAT Pick to the winner!

We won't be including HGA for this bet, so it's just 15 vs 15 including Captain

All of a sudden our cellar dweller match will be very interesting this week! MOTR Purps?  ;)

Deals a deal, dont like it as precedents either but its not like it makes a huge difference so appreciate a pass.

Dublin Trade: Pick 4 + Pick 52
Dillos Trade: Trent Dumont + Tom Clurey + Pick 43

Reason: need a u2 and clurey adds to the belfast flag push

Confirmed, love dumont but ive gone and stacked my midfield too much anyway so can afford to lose him so id rather punt in the draft. Clurey a serviceable 74 average but i feel i can cover in defense as well.

New York trade: Tom Liberatore + Kyle Langford + Hugh Dixon + Pick 40
London trade: Tom T Lynch + Pick 8 + Pick 45 + Pick 81

London are looking to bolster their midfield and I've been looking for a forward ever since Willie Rioli decided to be a goose  >:(

Losing 2 mids will test my depth, and Lynch is older which goes against my overall direction but he's a reliable forward and hopefully I can replace one of the empty mid spots I'm losing now with 8. Adding in Dixon who a lot of coaches rate, and also upgrading their 3rd rounder

LF/Ringo to confirm

Confirm
As RD said we need to bolster our midfield to continue to be competitive and actually have a fourth mid to field each week

I explained how this trade helps both teams as I need a forward and London need mids, but I didn't explain how we valued the assets so I thought I should do that too

A few coaches have already told me this trade is fine, but a few have also questioned Libba and Langfords worth, which I think is unfair all things considered, hence providing this explanation

Last year both Lynch and Langford averaged the same as forwards, 80. This year Lynch went 84 and Langford 74, but the massive 7 years age difference between them should be more than enough to make up for a year of 10ppg difference, not to mention it's not unfair to assume the younger player has upside (as shown from previous year) and the older player could decrease a little. Lynch has a reliable history, no doubt, it's what I need and why I am getting him, but he's a 80-85fwd at best now and pushing 30 - there's every chance Langford could match him next year, but if he doesn't then the age gap makes up for it

Then it's Libba + Dixon + a pick upgrade for 8.

As precedence, I just traded Brodie Smith for Pick 7, and prior to this year he had years of 75-80avg as a defender. Libba averaged 94 from Round 1 - 12 this year before getting injured, so Libba + Dixon + pick upgrade for 8 is more than fair in our opinion. A lot of people think that a def/fwd is worth 8ppg more than a mid, so even if we say Smith as a 88 def is worth a 96 mid - well Libba isn't far off, but then there's also Dixon and the pick upgraded being added, and this is Pick 8, not Pick 7, which carries weight too

Pick 4 was just traded for Trent Dumont, an 83avg mid, and Clurey a 75 def and there's a big jump from 4 to 8 in terms of this years draft so if that trade is fine, then so is this. Yes Libba's injury history should be considered, but a fit Libba scores more than a fit Dumont, so you could argue the injury history is why 1 guy fetches 8 and the other gets 4

Cheers

Cairo give: Pick 55
New York give: Fraser Turner

Huge fan of Frase who is rated super well internally, fresh off a VFL premiership and is a good Tassie boy (most Tassie Tigers do well for us) and has a really good chance to crack into the 22 in 2020 with Brandon Ellis on the move.

RD to confirm.

JBs-Hawks

Christchurch trade: National Draft Pick #1 + National Draft Pick #20  + Connor McFadyen

Seoul trade: Brandon Parfitt + Cameron Zurhaar + Brandon Matera + Cameron McCarthy + National Draft Pick #11

Alot of the same reasoning as our last trade but we have removed 38 to try and take on some of what the coaches have said.

The trade can also be broken down like this

Parfitt + 11 + Matera + McCarthy

For 1 + McFayden

Zurhaar for 20

Koop to confirm, although may need to be a discord confirm as he cant login to FF atm.

Confirm. Same reasons as before.

Mexico City Trade: Callum Wilkie + N60
Christchurch Trade: Jake Stringer + N56

A nice simple first trade, pretty close to a like for like. Need a little bit of scoring power up forward, and hopefully Stringer can get back to his best next season. And Wilkie will stay a staple in the Saints side next year, so will stay a relevant player.

Coop to confirm.

Confirm. Excess of capable forwards with Parf and Zurhaar coming in and I really like Wilkie's scope to improve.
