Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Max Gawn
Last 3: 104, 128, 101 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 148, 82, 70 (100 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 104, 129, 148 (127 avg)

Big Max smashed Brodie earlier this year but his history against the Pies prior to that match wasn't great. I think he's every chance to go well again but I'd rather not risk it. Prediction - 110

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 145, 79, 181 (135 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 95, 101, 100 (99 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 145, 79, 100 (108 avg)

Grundy was big last week after letting us down the week before. However, against Max, he never goes big so look elsewhere. Prediction - 100

Adam Treloar
Last 3: 129, 130, 111 (123 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 124, 110, 93 (109 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 129, 130, 102 (120 avg)

Treloar is in some good form but the great news is that Melbourne gave up 30+ touches to three Tigers this week. The game's leading disposal getter should manage 40 touches easily. Prediction - 130

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 151, 127, 132 (137 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 116, 98, 102 (105 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 127, 132, 110 (123 avg)

Macrae was huge last week and is carrying some awesome form. He's great at home and pretty good against the Bombers. Prediction - 130

Marcus Bontempelli
Last 3: 139, 128, 65 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 82, 96, 102 (93 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 128, 65, 86 (93 avg)

The Bont has been great two weeks in a row now but he's not great against the Bombers so I'd look elsewhere. Prediction - 95

Mitch Duncan
Last 3: 92, 102, 105 (100 avg)
Last 3 against North: 142, 105, 106 (118 avg)
Last 3 at Kardinia: 122, 99, 82 (101 avg)

Duncan has been very disappointing in recent weeks but he's due for a good score and should get there this week. His last match at the Cattery was good and he smashed North in their last match up. Prediction - 125

Patrick Cripps
Last 3: 75, 141, 55 (90 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 101, 130, 109 (113 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 141, 63, 115 (106 avg)

Cripps likes to play the Tigers and but the Tigers haven't given up as many big scores in recent weeks as we're used to. He should rack up a lot of touches this week but too many might be handballs. Prediction - 110

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 107, 103, 107 (106 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 120, 148, 112 (127 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 103, 104, 100 (102 avg)

Gaff loves to play the Crows so might return on the investment many of us made when we saw his good run home. I'm backing him to buck his trend of low tons and get a great score. Prediction - 125

LAHUG'S POD!

Matt Crouch
Last 3: 126, 89, 95 (103 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 120, 150, 128 (133 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 67 (67 avg)

Is Crouch back? 126 last week after some down scores was nice to see but the historical scoring against the Eagles has me really excited. It'd be an awesome way to end the round. Potential - 140+

The verdict:
1.   Adam Treloar (130)
2.   Jack Macrae (130)
3.   Andrew Gaff (125)
4.   Mitch Duncan (125)

Do you really have enough time to quote like 5+ players per week? Go ahead if you want :P
