Getting this posted now so people can have a fair idea for discussing trades and all that of where they sit in the draft order.

Draft will be over 4 rounds but you must have vacancies available on your list to gain all selections.  You will have the option of passing on picks to take advantage of the Rookie Draft if you desire. Just advise accordingly.

Coaches have 24 hours offline, or 2 hours online in which to make their selections, after the previous selection is made.  This will be enforced by the league administrator and discretion can be used where appropriate.

As a courtesy coaches should PM the next coach on the list after they have picked. If you are passing on a pick, please advise in thread and then PM the next coach.

Picks which are red with a line through them means you are either passing on that pick, or you don't have the space on your list to use it.

Priority picks:

Swansea Breakers Priority Pick prior to Rd 1 Pick
Liverpool Rams - Priority Pick end of Rd 1

Opening the 2020 draft and just a reminder as a courtesy to advise next on the list via PM or discord.

Also advise early if you intend to pass a National Pick.  At the moment we have three teams who will be without a pick in Rd 4 and should they have no players available when their selection is up they will have a compensating pick prior to the Supplementary draft. Still hoping for another 3 teams to pass though,

Over to Rams for first pick,

Rids

I do not think that is a fair solution sorry.

Other teams have kept or traded in regards to getting early picks in the rookie draft as they have someone in mind. Teams who miss out late in the national draft maybe get a pick after the first rd etc of the rookie draft to supplement their lists.

As a person who traded for Rookie Pick 4, I completely agree with you.

IMO they either miss out, or get end of rookie supp picks.

Nige

Yeah nah, that’s an absolute joke that the idea of teams getting a pick ahead of R1, the pick for the team that finished dead last for flowers sake, is getting pushed back.

Given the whole “increasing to 48 players” thing was not cared for when discussing the ruling regarding the Murray/Townsend etc situation (there were suggestions we would go in a player short), I think those with the last three picks can go a player short, or if they really do need the pick, get a supp pick at the end of the rookie.

No surprises here.

Lions select Noah Anderson.

We already discussed this Ringo, use a supp pick if needed. Can't have first pick of rookie, completely unfair.

As the proud owner of N66, as much as I would love to walk straight into Rookie #1, it is not a very fair solution. I'm sure all coaches would agree the top of the rookie draft is a much more valuable drafting position than the end of the NAT. With that said, I don't think it was unreasonable for coaches to be relying on picks in the late 60s given the size of previous drafts, so turning those picks into SUPP picks seems a little bit harsh. I agree with Rids' suggestion of an end of first round rookie pick.

After discussion with coaches have amended decision on coaches who may not be able to take a pic to having a compensating pick prior to start of supplementary draft,

Although not 100% fair it is probably the best solution given we can not compromise the Rookie Draft.  Picks in this range probably equate to same national as well.
