Any chance I can get a random consonant for one of my 3 Qs, and 2 for Koop as well since he has 4, considering there's only 2 surnames involving a Q in the league?

I'm pretty sure we're all going to take a fairly big hit to points with letters left over.

Well, yeah, but we're already at a disadvantage with letters we can't physically use, that's not fair.

I got 2 Qs and 4 Zs.

But there's 15 Zs in player's surnames in the league, so you're not already starting with a negative score, unlike us with more than 2 Qs

Tell that to my -1175 points deficit.

maybe 20 and 10. 5 and 2.5 seems too low. 20 and 10 people should be able to get over 0 easy.

Was there an answer to naming a player who doesn't play?  I feel like if you can name a player that is on an AFL list, but doesn't play it's a way of using letters and copping a 0 instead of the extra points you would lose from not using the letters.

Provided they are on an AFL list, you may name a donut to avoid the penalty for left-over-letters.

Agree that the points subtracted from leftover letters should be too low. 20 and 10 at a minimum. Everyone's in the same boat, was happy with the original point deductions to be honest.

So whats the consensus with the leftover tiles scores?  It makes a difference to what I do, I can use more letters with one person's name, or I can make 2 players out of that instead.
