BXVs Round 14 Team Lodgement and Banter

Fixture and such to come, getting this thread up now...just in case :p

This weeks draw and we all know the drill now:

Full lockout at bounce of Eagles Pies game at 8:10pm

This weeks Draw with first named team having the HGA

Liverpool Rams v Hastings Hurricanes
16th v 6th - The Hurricane should be fierce this week blowing the Rams off the park. Hurricane will have an eye on Top 4 finish.

Staines Steins v Wrexham Knights
4th v 7th - Contender for match of the round - A lot will depend on Steins injuries and if they get up should be a little strong for the Knights. The Knights have found some form over the last couple of weeks and if they bring this form to this game an upset may occur. Will depend on which team is hungrier with Steins wanting a place in top 4 and Knights wanting to ensure their place in the 8.

Birmingham Dragons v Grope Lane Giants
3rd v 1st - The other contender for match of the round. These 2 teams are so even when you look at % only .1% separates them. The question this week is will the Dragons miserly defence be able to contain the Giants attacking line. If they can they are capable of bringing the Giants down. Really a toss of the coin here but going for the Dragons who will have their home crowd driving them home.

Bradford Badgers v Huddersfield Hawks
2nd v 9th - Badgers are being hurt by injuries at the wrong time and are ripe for a hawk picking who must win this game if they are a chance for the 8. Could be a real scrap here and going for the Hawks unless a few of the injured stars start returning.

Winchester Werewolves v Manchester Magic
5th v 8th - Yet another contender for match of the round - Wolves a chance to move into the top 4 and Magic wanting to stay ahead of the pack for 8th spot. Again little separates these 2 teams so a little hard to call but slightly favour Wolves at home.

Nottingham Hoods v Swansea Breakers
11th v 15th After a slow start to the season the Hoods are coming home strong at the right end of the season. They should easily account for the Breakers to maintain the pressure for that 8th spot. Hoods may rue a couple of early losses in the end though,

Leeds Leeches v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs
13th v 10th - Hedgies are another team that have been stricken by injuries and this may cost them a final place. Leeches should hold on to the poor Hedgies this week.

Oxford Lions v Blackpool Bunnies
14th v 12th - Another match where two even teams are drawn to play each other. Lions have had the hard draw over the last few weeks and this represents the opportunity for the to roar. Will they be roaring think so.

A very interesting round where a lot of matches will have a bearing on the 8 and % boosters as well.
