Minigames are back! Thanks to Gig for this suggestion:

This week, each participant is to select one player from each AFL team and send them to myself via PM/FB/Discord.
The catch? For every other person to select that player, a (-10) will be applied to their score.
For instance, I select Harley Bennell and he scores 120. Unfortunately, 3 other people do the same, the 4 of us will get a score of 90 from Bennell.

1 owner -- no penalty
2 owners -- 10pt reduction
3 owners -- 20pt reduction
4 owners -- 30pt reduction
5 owners -- 40pt reduction
6 owners -- 50pt reduction
7 owners -- 60pt reduction
8 owners -- 70pt reduction
9 owners -- surely collusion, right?

The aim is, of course, to score the most DT points from your total player scores.
Full lockout at the bounce on Friday Night, no coverage for late outs unfortunately.

Everyone thinks that everyone will pick him so no one does. That would be so much better.

Collingwood vs. Hawthon

Holz: Adam Treloar (82) & Jaeger O'Meara (69) = 151
Gigantor: Brodie Grundy (100) & Liam Shiels (57) = 157
JV: Jack Crisp (107) & Blake Hardwick (82) = 189
Koop: Adam Treloar (82) & Jarman Impey (96) = 178
Tom: Scott Pendlebury (74) & Liam Shiels (57) = 131
GL: Adam Treloar (82) & Liam Shiels (57) = 139
Nige: Scott Pendlebury (74) & Jaeger O'Meara (69) = 143
LS: Jack Crisp (107) & Ben McEvoy (83) = 190

It was a great night for unique selections, with surprise unique Brodie Grundy delivering a solid ton for Gigantor. A 10pt deduction for two owners didn't stop Jack Crisp tonning up for JV and LS. Ben McEvoy, Blake Hardwick & Jarman Impey were all great as less-predictable selections. No one picked top DT scorer, James Sicily (121), while Tom Phillips (111) was the only unselected player to ton. It wasn't a good night to be a Liam Shiels owner, while Adam Treloar was solid, but highly selected.

Essendon vs. Sydney

Holz: Zach Merrett (47) & Luke Parker (92) = 139
Gigantor: Zach Merrett (47) & Jake Lloyd (113) = 160
JV: Zac Clarke (37) & Harry Cunningham (72) = 109
Koop: Darcy Parish (70) & Tom Papley (61) = 131
Tom: Darcy Parish (70) & Josh P. Kennedy (100) = 170
GL: Dyson Heppell (0) & Zak Jones (67) = 67
Nige: David Zaharakis (107) & Zak Jones (67) = 174
LS: Dylan Shiel (125) & Zak Jones (67) = 192

Poor GL, the victim of a Dyson Heppell late out. Despite a strong start, JV crashed and burned with two unique picks that failed to fire. Nige, LS & Gigantor would be stoked with their uniques Zaharakis, Shiel & Lloyd respectively all reaching the ton. Holz & Gigantor suffered a quiet game from Zach Merrett, while nobody backed Isaac Heeney (118) -- nor did they Shaun McKernan (102). LS is in a great position after two games, top scoring in both.

Gold Coast vs. Richmond

Holz: Touk Miller (78) & Bachar Houli (75) = 153
Gigantor: Jarrod Witts (86) & Dustin Martin (48) = 134
JV: Wil Powell (4) & Nick Vlastuin (69) = 73
Koop: Darcy Macpherson (102) & Brandon Ellis (87) = 189
Tom: Jarrod Witts (86) & Kane Lambert (105) = 191
GL: Anthony Miles (86) & Kane Lambert (105) = 191
Nige: Lachie Weller (94) & Sydney Stack (72) = 166
LS: Jarrod Witts (86) & Dustin Martin (48) = 134

JV's slow start to Saturday did not improve with unique selection Wil Powell going down early in the game. Jarrod Witts performed strongly, but was selected by 3 coaches. Koop's POD Darcy Macpherson was terrific, while twice-selected Dustin Martin was not so. Despite a ten point deduction, Kane Lambert still tonned up. Dion Prestia (118), Jason Castagna (118), David Swallow (106) and Shai Bolton (116) would have all been nice selections. The much hyped Brayden Fiorini (83) wasn't chosen by anyone!

Adelaide vs. Port Adelaide

Holz: Brad Crouch (82) & Tom Rockliff (130) = 212
Gigantor: Brad Crouch (82) & Tom Rockliff (130) = 212
JV: Hugh Greenwood (76) & Dan Houston (50) = 126
Koop: Eddie Betts (41) & Justin Westhoff (132) = 173
Tom: Rory Sloane (86) & Tom Rockliff (130) = 216
GL: Rory Laird (98) & Travis Boak (0) = 98
Nige: Reilly O'Brien (97) & Darcy Byrne-Jones (116) = 213
LS: Reilly O'Brien (97) & Dougal Howard (60) = 157

Holz & Gigantor were on the same page, selecting the same duo for the Showdown. Koop nailed his selection of Justin Westhoff, however this was largely offset by the disappointment of Eddie Betts. GL tragically copped his second donut of the day, with both being unique zeros. Despite his 3 owners, Tom Rockliff still managed a monster 130, while Nige's unique Darcy Byrne-Jones was also a standout. Riley Bonner (113), Ollie Wines (105), Robbie Gray (104), Scott Lycett (104) & Brad Ebert (103) all brought up triple figures of the players unselected.

Holz: Tim Kelly (65) & Jack Macrae (76) = 141
Gigantor: Mitch Duncan (65) & Jack Macrae (76) = 141
JV: Rhys Stanley (98) & Patrick Lipinski (66) = 164
Koop: Mark Blicavs (77) & Jack Macrae (76) = 153
Tom: Tom Stewart (98) & Josh Dunkley (120) = 218
GL: Mitch Duncan (65) & Jack Macrae (76) = 141
Nige: Joel Selwood (69) & Patrick Lipinski (66) = 135
LS: Tom Stewart (98) & Marcus Bontempelli (124) = 222

It was a rough night for Tim Kelly & Mitch Duncan owners, while Joel Selwood wasn't a lot better. The opposite was true for Tom & LS' unique Doggies, with both Josh Dunkley & Marcus Bontempelli both cracking the 120 point barrier. Rhys Stanley was strong s a unique for JV. Jack Macrae had a good game, but his score suffered due to high popularity. Nobody picked Lachie Hunter (124), while Patrick Dangerfield (114) was perhaps too much of an injury-risk to take a chance on. It would be difficult to have picked Aaron Naughton (106) or Zach Tuohy (105).
