Or if you are willing to use 2 trades, Baker to Chol, Corbett to Hoff.

i have to keep stack or it leaves me no upgrade path. id have to trade corbett to swing danger back fwd and id need a few trades to facilitate that kind of cash considering hes only 210k. so i guess i do my option or your 2 trade option, which only leaves me with 5 and id need 2 of them to upgrade stack so essentially 3.

Still can't decide what to do, Bewley out makes it more compelling to complete my Whitfield trade but Gawn looks goneski, the language being used by Goodwin & co. speaks of a week off (at least). Hoff is back & will be hungry too, think I'll just play it safe & bring in Hoff, plonk him at R3 & rest easy.

What really peeves me off is that Chol has been DPP for two years & has lost his ruck licence. Not happy Jan.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you so sure that Gawn is cooked?

Reports have become a lot more pessimistic compared to a couple of days ago, swelling hasn't subsided so he's only got 2 days to get that under control. I may be wrong on this but it would be very risky to assume he'll be ok.

Taking a second look I think I could use the league wins. Gawns BE is 212. If I do Baker > Chol and Gawn > Grundy (I'm a non-owner) it leaves me with 4 trades and 400k in the bank. I still need a defender but I can get Whitfield/Lloyd in 1 trade with spare case. And maybe trade Gawn back in for the finals.

I personally would get some cover, one donut could turn into two & then you can kiss goodbye a top 1000 finish. There's also Grundy to consider, he's been teetering on the edge a couple of times.

As for Hoff, reckon he's good for 85+, no Ryder means he should be getting more ruck time. The guy is also as proud as punch, club champions don't disappear overnight.

assumes you don't have a Gawn problem to deal with, 7 trades is good position.    Option 3 provides best bang for back and you can do Setterfield to Mundy/Walters between now and finals.     With westhoff back in team is lycett going to continue to pump out 130+ scores?

If you're okay with having to trade gawn back in then I think it's worth it. But tbh I wouldn't do it. Cop donut or look for cover else where
