Ended up doing Walsh to Cripps and Scott to Logue via Dursma with Cripps out.

hmm...problems.
i traded hore out this week with plans to downgrade to logue (and leaving me with ~650k in the bank).

Silly me forgot round lockout had started and instead traded him for rich as my d6.

im left with 400k in the bank and need to bring in a midfielder.
i need to field one of Hind or O.Baker with Cripps out, and also have stack/walsh still on the ground.

I would like to bring in parker, but with cripps out would hold on to walsh.
can upgrade stack to parker now or if i wait a week I can do baker to parker or j.kelly.

should i hold or bite the bullet now?
Projected is 2400 with cripps on the bench

Rotham or Burgess to Logue?

With Naish being dropped I am rethinking my trade plans to make sure i have defensive cover moving forward

Current defensive line: Lloyd, Ryan, Williams, Sicily, Hore, Duursma (Burgess, Naish). 7 trades left, $34K, complete team besides defense

Option 1
- Burgess to Logue this week
- Hayes to Hayden next week (opens Mid/Fwd DPP)
- Duursma/Hore to Hurn or Whitfield when they bottom out in 2-3 weeks

Option 2
- Hore to Logue this week
- Hayes to Hayden next week (opens Mid/Fwd DPP)
- Burgess to Hurn or Whitfield when they bottom out in 2-3 weeks

Both options leave me with Hore or Duursma and Logue at D6/D7.
Option 1 gives me immediate cover in the backline but no $ at all
Option 2 leaves me with no cover in the backline for 2-3 weeks, but $50K to play with incase i need to trade due to a LTI

What would you do? thanks

Hayes and Burgess are deadwood and Hore and Duursma have maxed out and are ripe for the picking to state the obvious.
Personally, I'd trade Hore to Logue this week to maximise your $$$ return.
Not a fan of Hayden to be honest. Not a big accumulator and could easily be dumped after a poor performance this week for Hall or Tyson. Ahern also waiting in the wings. Macmillan is a defender but his return may also reshuffle the side and force Hayden out.
If you can hold and are low on trades, I'd hold Duursma and wait for Whitfield to drop to about $500K!
Hore to Logue (this week)
Duursma to Whitfield (2-3 weeks after his return)
Unless you have enough trades and another rookie candidate rears his head to trade out Duursma for maximum cash generation?
Then you can trade Burgess to give yourself a decent backup in defense.

Thanks for the reply. That was my initial plan but with Naish dropped I’m concerned with having no defensive cover at all. Not concerned if Hayden plays much, he will be there only to open up DPP

Going to go Hore to Logue this week. Looks like next week will be on the one to jump on Hurn the way he is going and that will give me the cash to upgrade Burgess to him.
