I have 12 trades and 54K, sitting pretty comfortably in cash league and ranked 1670 overall, have a few trade ideas so far this week but not sure if i should trade in my midfield or defence, my backline is more of a worry but don't want to miss out on Sloane.

Llyod, Laird, Williams, Hore, Naish, Burgess (Whitfiled, Gardner)
Oliver, Cripps, Neale, Macrae, Coniglio, Fyfe, Sheed, Walsh (Duursma, Clarke, Stocker)
Gawn, Grundy (Bines)
Dangerfield, Dunkley, T Kelly, Boak, Heeney, Rozee (Begley, Young)

Ive come up with so far:

A. Burgess - Logue
    Hore - Stewart

B. Burgess - Hind (via Duursma)
    Hore - Ryan

C. Burgess - Logue
    Walsh - Sloane

Duursma was in my backline originally but i traded Answerth during the byes and now hes stuck in the mids :(

Hopefully Whitfield comes back soon or else hes got to go for Hurn

I’d go C. And stick it out with Whitfield. You’ve held him this long, so look for other options to upgrade around him

Cheers for the reply!

Option C was my initial option but i have realised i have Burgess at D6  :o
I could swing Rozee into D6 and play Begley at F6 but not sure.

Yes i have held Whitfield but im hoping he comes back in 2 weeks.

Thinking Answerth to Logue and Gibbons to Hind leaves me with $312,500 in the bank and only 6 trades left needing 3 prems.

Lloyd Houli Laird Stewart Hore Logue NAISH GARDNER

Fyfe Macrae Cripps Cogs Neale Oliver Bont Clarke HIND BAKER BEWLEY

Grundy Gawn BINES

Dunkley Danger Boak Kelly Daniel Heeney SETTERFIELD YOUNG

enzedder

Wasn’t going to trade as I feel I need to conserve the ones I have but my defensive cover may fail me in the end.... Naish/Gardner
Logue is now or never and both his scores and JS look great and I feel he is what I need.

D: Hurn, Lloyd, Williams, Laird, Blakely, Duursma (Gardner, Naish)
M: Cripps, Neale, Macrae, Fyfe, Cunnington, Oliver, MCrouch, Dunkley* (Hayden*, Bewley, Clarke )
R: Grundy, Gawn (Bines)
F: Dangerfield*, TKelly*, Daniel, Marshall, J Cameron, Gray* (Heeney*, Young)

I have just realised I can switch Gardner forward, trade out Young who is superfluous to needs and afford Logue.
Reckon I would have rock solid cover on all lines (excluding rucks) with premo loophole cover in fwd/mids.

The rub... only 2 trades left. Risky but think it’s worth it
Thoughts?

I like it, I'm in a similar situation & kind of wish I did that instead of trading in Hayden. Down to 3 trades myself but I figure Logue will be good for a 70 average, that will be handy bench cover.

Hore > Weller
Hayes > Naish

Those with Brad Crouch, are we thinking of trading or holding at M8?

Part of me is tempted to flick him to a Sloane/Duncan type, but he has been a solid pick. Just needs to clean up his disposal.

3rd average of 117, ranked 5th of pure mids. 5rd of 110 better than Sloane, Cripps, Oliver, Neale. Wasted trade at this stage

I don't have Brad Crouch, but if I did I wouldn't be trading him unless my whole team is fully finished and I have luxury trades left up my sleeve.

Thewizz71

Hore -> Logue (should score about the same), allows me to do
Answerth -> Sloane (should score much much better).
5 trades left.

bulldo

Couple of options, either move on B.Smith for a DEF up to 580k (Hurn, etc), or double down this week for improved bench cover.

Answerth > Logue
Smith > Hurn or Scott > Hind

If I got Hind this week, would be able to do Smith > Lloyd next week.

Currently got 11 trades left

Houli, Ryan, Laird, Sicily, Williams, Smith (Answerth, Naish)
Fyfe, Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Kelly, Bont, Cripps, Crouch (Scott, Clarke, Baker)
Gawn, Grundy (Schlensog)
Kelly, Dunkley, Boak, Cameron, Heeney, Danger (Young, Gardner)

Yeah if you still have a Brodie Smith/Hore/Duursma/Logue type at D6, I would upgrade that position before Brad Crouch.

Rotham to Hooker
Moore to R.Gray

$10,500 cash and 1 trade left. Complete team but horrible bench cover. Going to be a rough ride for rest of the year and am only just inside top 20k. Been a disaster year.

D: Houli, Z.Williams, Sicily, Crisp, Hooker, B. Smith (Naish, Gardner)
M: J.Kelly, Fyfe, Cripps, Yeo, Neale, Zerrett, Oliver, B.Crouch (Clarke, Hind, Scott)
R: Gawn, Grundy (Bines)
D: Dangerfield, Boak, T.Kelly, Daniel, R.Gray, Heeney (Corbett, Young)

Personally I do not see the need to trade in Hind with Clarke, Naish (hopefully), Baker, Bewley & Setters already as cash cows. Personally I would be looking to get Gibbo up to Sloane or Mcrouch.
