Been looking at so many different options but I’m kind of locked on these trades:

Burgess - Hind
Duursma - Llyod
Smith - Stewart

Still have Whitfield too.

This will leave me with 10 trades and week after Walsh - Sloane and Stocker to a 102k fwd/mid rookie.

Will leave me with 8 trades and only F6 and D6 to worry about and potentially M8 ( Sheed ) which will become Josh Kelly.

Looks ok in hindsight  :-\

bulldo

Would prefer to not trade in someone not playing, but works for me to complete the mids:
ROB (via DPP) > Naish
Stocker > Bont
Hayes > D.Clarke
+107k

Houli, Ryan, Laird, Sicily, Williams, Answerth (Smith, Naish)
Fyfe, Neale, Oliver, Macrae, OBaker, Bont, D.Clarke, Scott (Kelly, Cripps, BCrouch)
Gawn, Grundy (Schlensog)
Kelly, Dunkley, Boak, Gardner, Heeney, Danger (Young, Cameron)

11 trades and looking at luxury trades of Crouch > Sloane & Smith > Lloyd/ Hurn/ Whitfield.

Here I was thinking this was the easiest week for me in terms of trades

Corbett to Haydon (to open DPP) and Walsh to Neale is what I did and that completed my team

However, now with news of Hoff being dropped on top of the fact I was already concerned that I'd be missing out on Clarke, I've now come up with another idea.

Corbett to Clarke and Walsh to Zerrett

With the first option I was considering Scott to Clarke as a third trade (Doesn't make much cash but I like the idea of Clarke for good bench cover moving forward) but that would be 3 trades used in total

With this new idea I only use 2 trades and get Clarke, but the sacrifice is getting Zerrett (or Bont) to complete my side, meaning neither Neale or Fyfe are in my finished team, but I do keep the extra trade (and can always bring in Haydon later down the track if and when I actually need to use DPP)

Would love any thoughts on this

Trades become gold, so pretty solid plan. I'm going to be without Fyfe as well and probably missing Clarke myself, but would love a way to get them in...

RaisyDaisy

Yeah I'm pretty much convinced on doing this now and passing on Neale

Having Clarke as another option for cover and saving an extra trade as well has more appeal to me, because there's still a long way to go and trades certainly are gold from here on out

I can grab Bont for 30k cheaper, but I like Zerrett from here on out

Neale might attract more attention moving forward after what happened in their last match, and he's last 6 weeks have only seen 1 big score so the gap between Neale and Zerrett might not be that big from here out too. That's obviously the glass half full viewpoint, but I'm choosing depth and a saved trade now

Hard to split Bont and Zerrett. I'm a bit drawn to Bont's run of 6/8 games at Marvel. Low of 104, average of 127 there this year. Tough rd 22/23 though...

This week:
Gibbons > Hind
Smith > Logue
Walsh > Merrett

Next week:
Duursma > Sloane
Baker > fwd premo that costs 544k or less

And then my team is finished!

I have held Whitfield but even though on the AFL website it says he 1-2 weeks away from returning i dont buy it.

Is it worth holding till after the GWS bye? Or just trade him to Llyodd/Hurn?

If you have enough trades I would consider a sideways to Seagull.

Depends on how many trades you have of course, but I would be tempted to hold him considering you have already toughed out the Round 13 nightmare week with him on the bench.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)

Rocky to D Clark     Balta to Logue via DPP     Baker to Boak and 300k for next trade.
Will hold Hore for Whitfield if required, and need 1 mid, 1 Forward, ! defender from 9 trades left
Think that puts me in the do-able but cautious category. Will end up with a very good team but only league in conjecture.

Anyone have thoughts about B Smith to Logue?

I have Hurn, Lloyd, Ryan, Z Williams, Hore, Laird, Naish and B Smith at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

I would for sure. You already 6 good DEFs without Smith who has high BE & not playing this week. Leaves 2 half decent DEFs for cover & leaves the door ajar for a Hore to Whitfield luxury trade if & when the time arises.

Sounds good, HappyDEZ.

You don't even know what a tight budget is until you see my trades ;D

Walsh > Neale
Larkey > Buddy
Libba > Seb Ross (yes you may need to read that twice)

Next week Setters > Hayden and Baker > Treloar (granted bloody Hoff comes back in!!!!)
