Had a look at things and next week I'm definitely doing Walsh to Neale to complete my side so that means it's Bont vs Boak for the 2nd last spot this week

Both have basically scored the same this year, so picking who goes best from here is the call I need to make

Boak is 25k cheaper, which is handy, but I just need to pick one of these 2, and once I bring in Neale next week I will have a complete team of 22 keepers plus Robbie Gray as M9/F7 (he's coming in this week too)

Bont vs Boak?

Bont is the player I would choose, just feel there's something simmering & I think you need a player capable of knocking out the occasional 140+ score.

hard choice
Bont - B/E 133 playing Blues where his last 3 have been 124, 145 and 120 Average YTD 112.5
v
Boak - B/E 101 playing Dockers where his last 3 have been 83, 98.95. Average YTD 111.9

probably toss a coin as both can throw in the occasional Stinker and conversely both have big scores in them> Bont probably has the greater deviation  though.

Noticed there's no talk of ziebell yet. Yes I know he still has a bye to come but a BE of on only 39 u could get a nice POD. He has played a few easy teams lately but it's his role that's got me interested. 2 games in the guts with Shaw at the wheel.

Hore, Clark & Balta to Sicily, Bewley & Gray.
Leaves probably one mid spot to upgrade, 2 if I keep Gray as M9/F7.
Hoping next week I get Gardner (if playing), Clarke and Bont/Oliver.

GoLions

Answerth to Gardiner on the cards
Probably upgrade Balta to Caleb

I like Boak more, I started the year with him for a reason, being a pure midfielder helps counterbalance his terrible disposal efficiency, and with Wines, Gray and Rocky being so injury-prone I cannot see him losing mid time. Bont has a higher ceiling, but relies on goals to boost his score and has to share points with Dunkley, Macrae and Daniel every week.

Thanks for the responses guys. It's going to depend on what rookies get picked this week as that effects my options and plans so the 25k difference between the two might make the decision easier for me. Will just have to wait and see by the looks of things

Hore to Sicily
Atkins to Bewley

Maybe 1 more upgrade we'll see

frenzy

L.Baker, Larkey, Answerth  for Dunkley, Gray, D.Clarke

Ringo

Maybe if I do not tank

Stocker if not named to Bewley or other rookie
Moore to Sicily.

Money Shot

Hore > Sicily
Baker > Bewley
Moore - Hawks (assuming he isn’t named) > Gardner

Next week
O’brien > Gawn
Walsh > Macrae
Duursma > Clarke

Gray vs Hoff for bench cover?

I think Gray scores better, but Hoff covers the extra line (ruck)

*Not interested in Lycett/Ceglar

Gray. See how Hoff scores with Dixon back. One to keep an eye out for sure.

Gray all the way, you can always trade in Hoff if a ruck goes down.

Well not really. I'd have to trade an existing keeper to Hoff, so that defeats the purpose

The scenario is this: Fyfe with Hoff as cover vs Neale with Gray as cover

I'm starting to lean towards option 1, because Fyfe probably edges Neale and Hoff covers 3 lines vs Gray 2

Ingram

Clark > Bewley via Answerth
Aktins > Boak via Setterfeild
Spud turd Greene > Ziebell

Next week Wilkie and Baker for Gardener and T. Kelly completes my fwd leaves Duursma Walsh BCrouch as my weakest.
