We're expected to name our side, when 6 teams haven't even named their AFL sides and aren't playing for another week so having a 4th emergency seems like a pretty reasonable thing to do seeing as we have no idea what players from those 6 sides will actually be named

You chose to loophole. You would’ve had 15 if you named your team with 15 starters/probable starters on field and 3 playing/probably playing emergencies. Risk/reward. Your risk didn’t pay off.

And even when you reply saying how you wouldn’t have because that’s what you do, luck plays a part too.


I do think it’s interesting however that the Rep game gets 4 emergencies and this round only gets 3 seeing as they run very similarly.

Not once have I said it's not my fault or anything similar

9 times out of 10 I'll do the same loopholing and it will work fine - this was just a rare occurrence where it's backfired and I am completely fine with copping the donut

My problem is, the round is stretched over 2 AFL rounds so we had to name a team without having any idea what this weeks 6 teams that didn't play last week squads looked like, so for that reason having a 4th emg is a more than fair way to compensate for that
