A little bit of carnage this week with injuries. Delhi Belly in China and some rookies as late outs.

Although that is probably just a pre-empt for the upcoming bye weeks.  How is everyone looking heading into the byes?

I am looking forward to Zac Williams hopefully returning next round and getting rid of a few of my Round 13 guys to be upgraded.

That likely means getting rid of Petrucelle and maybe Hayes as he isn't getting a game at the moment.

Not sure who my targets will be just yet - but round 13 seems to where I am loaded too heavy.

Lets hope for no unexpected injuries, rests or 'stomach bugs'.

Edit to add: Just remembered that we have 3 trades each week during the byes....happy days.

I've got Sloane to worry about, Whitfield ?

Billings. Gone!

To be fair he was well and truly under the sickness cloud, I was surprised he actually played.

Braxton8ers

Yeah a bit rough on Billings - never easy to be at full strength when everything is running through you.

I need to find a rookie so I can trade Petrucelle and Hayes to Dusty and Rook.  Not looking good at the moment.

Only other thing is trading out Hore if his calf soreness keeps him out again.

Focusing on league so bye weeks are about making money to upgrade towards rd 14 into 15.
Have to fix Burgess, Corbett and Young who are doing nothing.
Also have O'Brien who will be pushed out of the Crows by Jacobs returning.

Dylan Clarke as a downgrade anyone? Know he has his bye this week, but aren't really any good options presenting themselves to me. Surely doesn't get dropped after shutting down Cripps like he did, and has impressive VFL and junior numbers.

Dont have Bewley, but Bennell will be playing his third WAFL game in a row this weekend and has been tearing up. Don't think I will take the risk on him on his bye.

Whitfield out for a minimum four weeks is a trade for me. Williams back this week and really excelled when whitfield was out the side.

Williams to Whitfield
Drew to Clarke?
ROB to Soldo or Balta? - Cheap Ruck?
Sets me up with 549k for next week

What are the best rookie options at the moment? I think Oskar Baker is the stand out, but after that it's pretty thin

EDIT: Rolling with a forward line of Boak, Kelly, Dangerfield, Dunkley, Billings, Worpel but Zieball at his current price looks like value, might bring him in instead of Clarke and work out who stays in the forward line at a later date. It looks like Shaw wants his captain playing in the middle and has a focus on a game plan that supports his style. Zieball should net a bit of cash gen which at the least will benefit me long term

Whitfield's injury changes things. Listed as 4 weeks on the AFL site but the news just said he's out for 6.

Personally think he is no chance to be back in 4 weeks. It's a broken collarbone -- 6 or 8 seems more likely even before you consider the 'GWS effect' on injuries.

I want to get another forward in as I'm getting sick of my F5 and F6 getting 50's.  Dunno whether to bring in Robinson or Dusty though.  Who do you guys think would be better long term?

I’ve really stuffed up my bye planning for DT. A couple of weeks ago I had 4 forwards out, so I needed to change my plans and use both trades there to avoid donuts. For some reason at the time, I was thinking St Kilda had the Rd.14 bye ::) So I was deciding between Billings and Ziebell thinking they had the same bye, and decided on Billings as everyone seemed to be going Ziebell. Their shower scores cancelled each other out in Rd.10, then Ziebell tonned up on the weekend whilst Billings got food poisoning ::)

I also brought in Young the human potato that week and kept Drew instead of Setterfield based on Byes. Now I’m stuffed for players this week >:(

Oh, I also traded Williams to Whitfield last week ::)

Braxton8ers

That is a rough run Rusty.

I am bringing in Ziebell this week - new coach will surely keep him in the middle....fingers crossed

Macrae getting the flick this week. Perhaps overdue. Whitfield, who just came in, also departs. Somehow Brayshaw has survived this long and, given his CBA last weekend, looks like staying for a while longer yet.

Who should I get rid of out of Heeny, Macrae and Cripps. Macrae on his bye I guess?

upthemaidens

I guess Whitfield, Scrimshaw and Drew will be the outs, not sure on the Ins though.  Do love having 3 trades a week.
