Seriously considering Whitfield to Connor Blakely but unsure about any more trades at this point.

I was actually considering this myself. Just trying to consider if I take Blakey which of the top Def do I pass on......

But are the top 6 defenders clearly defined yet ?? I had Sicily in my top 6 but would take Blakely in front of him. That's the beauty of SC, nothings easy or written in blood. Good luck which ever way you go.

It looks like Cogs is over his injuris which resulted in his poor scores.

For just over $500,000 it's not the worst idea to bring him in if people are looking for a cheap M7 or M8.

GWS have a dream draw from here too....

I think at this stage you get at least what you pay for, with potential upside. I'm just jaded about the start. The choice of Cogs over Neale to start the season cost 300+ points over the first 10 rounds, although last weekend clawed a bit back luckily.

Nothing wrong with grabbing Cogs imo

Very hard to get multiple 600k guys from here on out, so if you're strapped for cash or trades he's as good a pick as anyone in that price range

I'm not buying into the whole chasing points thing either - he's a proven gun mid. Not like he's some random who is on hot streak

I don't get the whole chasing points thing either. I almost started the year with him but ended up choosing Brayshaw instead lol, but i have been keeping a close eye on Coniglio. Round 1 to 6 he only failed to score 100 once, which was in round 2 against the eagles. That's the only giants game i haven't seen this year but i'm assuming he copped the Hutchings tag? So that means for the other 5 games he had scored 100, with a high score of 154. I remember the Sydney game quite well. He finished on 103 but he was on over 50 at 1/4 time. Thats the game he injured his finger yeah? Which also affected the next two games against the the saints and hawks. After taking a week off he also looked on against Melbourne, before Oliver gave him a corky. I may be wrong, but to me it looks like the Suns game was the first in over a month that he has looked fully fit. I'm bringing him in, not questioning his ability to score but gambling on his ability to stay fit. Since he never plays De Boer, you never have to worry about that tag and the giants have a great run home.
