Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 149, 152, 149 (150 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 126, 131, 103 (120 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 152, 149, 123 (141 avg)

I don't know why I'm bothering to write this. Grundy at the MCG is a 150 locked in. Prediction - 150

Adam Treloar
Last 3: 114, 113, 116 (114 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 112, 117, 127 (119 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 113, 116, 105 (111 avg)

If you'd prefer a safe 115 over a safe 150, Treloar's your man this week. Great form. Prediction - 115

Nat Fyfe
Last 3: 120, 74, 111 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 57, 76, 99 (77 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 76, 128, 75 (93 avg)

Fyfe is horrible against the Pies. Considering there's Grundy and Treloar to look at this game, Fyfe shouldn't even get your VC. Prediction - 85

Josh Kelly
Last 3: 135, 120, 115 (123 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 166, 105, 87 (119 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 120, 100, 126 (115 avg)

Kelly's probably the best mid in the comp right now and he's coming up against the Suns, a team he scored 166 on last time. This will be BIG. Prediction - 140

Lachie Whitfield
Last 3: 120, 190, 39 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 120, 98, 74 (97 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 190, 162, 109 (154 avg)

This was meant to be the week we picked up a bottomed out Whitfield but he ruined those plans with a 190 against the Blues. Now he plays the next worst team in the comp, at home, and could get another 190... His ceiling at home makes him super tempting. Prediction - 140

Mitch Duncan
Last 3: 118, 125, 142 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Sydney: 100, 105, 160 (122 avg)
Last 3 at Kardinia: 125, 130, 95 (117 avg)

The fact that I was disappointed with Duncan's 118 last week shows how good he's been recently. Back at home and against a Swans team he's been big against before. Prediction - 125

Dayne Zorko
Last 3: 99, 118, 134 (117 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 96, 134, 125 (118 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 118, 136, 88 (114 avg)

Despite a 99 last week, Zorko's still one of the in-form mids of the competition. He should be good against the Hawks, a team he's scored well on in the past. Prediction - 120

Max Gawn
Last 3: 132, 125, 91 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 74, 79, 100 (84 avg)
Last 3 at Darwin: 124, 79, 110 (104 avg)

Big Max is traditionally poor against Sauce but it'll be interesting to see how he goes against ROB this week. He usually likes Darwin and is in good form. Prediction - 120

Rory Sloane
Last 3: 119, 113, 130 (121 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 95, 34, 63 (64 avg)
Last 3 at Darwin: 34 (34 avg)

I expect a strong tag from Harmes this week but Sloane looks like he's dealing with attention better this season. Great form but there are safer options. Prediction - 110

Tom Rockliff
Last 3: 91, 109, 149 (116 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 114, 106, 127 (116 avg)
Last 3 at China: 106 (106 avg)

The China game chucks out some good scores each year and Rocky's scoring has been great this year when he's avoided injury. Prediction - 125

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 117, 125, 136 (126 avg)
Last 3 against Carlton: 81, 97, 115 (98 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 117, 104, 108 (110 avg)

Merrett's pretty poor against the Blues so I'd look elsewhere this week. His form is good though. Prediction - 100

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 120, 126, 108 (118 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 104, 92, 130 (109 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 126, 144, 115 (128 avg)

Gaff keeps chugging along as a great premium mid. He's particularly good at home where he faces the Dogs this week. Prediction - 130

LAHUG'S POD!

Travis Boak
Last 3: 80, 110, 113 (101 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 86, 46, 66 (66 avg)
Last 3 at China: 113, 153 (133 avg)

I think a lot of people will ignore Boak this week after a poor week and some poor history against the Saints. That's good news for those who want a POD. Two good scores out of two in China. I'm expecting a third. Potential - 135

The verdict:
1.   Brodie Grundy (150)
2.   Lachie Whitfield (140)
3.   Josh Kelly (140)
4.   Andrew Gaff (130)
5.   Mitch Duncan (125)

Think I'll stick with Grundog.  No need to get crazy.

Grundy is the obvious choice. In DT, I'd love to loop Grundy into a GWS boy but they play at the same time and my team's too crap to have the GWS boys anyway... So it'll be Grundy into Duncan.

Went with Whitfield, Lobb has been a little restrictive, and surely Grundy wont go 150~ for a fourth week straight
