Nth v South Challenge 2019

We usually hold this competition over the last 2 bye rounds and just wondering whether the interest is still there.

These are the rules and composition of the Challenge

We will have Rd 12 off and Competition will be over Rds 13 and 14.

South currently hold the Brave Heart Shield

North Teams are Hedgehogs, Magic, Hawks, Badgers, Rams, Knights, Leeches and Giants
South Teams are Werewolves, Hurricanes, Hoods, Bunnies, Owls, Breakers, Steins, Dragons.


Based on Ladder Positions at end of round 11 Split into the 2 Conferences North and South.
Teams 1,4,7 will select team from their players to comprise Premier Divisions for each conference
Teams 2,5,8 will select team from their players to comprise Reserve Division for each conference
Teams 3,6 will select team from their players to comprise Colts Division for each conference.
That is select the Team from the competing teams list. Coach of highest ranked team will be responsible for naming the Team.

Premier Division
North: Giants, Hedgehogs, Leeches Captain Koop Giants have ceded to Hedgies)
South: Dragons , Hurricanes, Lions Captain KB

Reserve Division
North: Badgers, Magic, Rams Captain GoLions
South: Steins, Hoods, Breakers Captain Nas

Colts Division:
North Knights, Hawks Capt: PK
South: Werewolves, Bunnies Capt Rusty

Coach of the highest ranked team  in each section will be the team captain and will be responsible for naming of the team.
British Rules applies to team lodgements and emergencies.

Competition will be over Rounds 13 and 14 with  Brisbane, Collingwood, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney and West Coast Rd 14 scores added to Rd 13.

Crows and Tigers Players will be locked at bounce of game on Thursday
Bombers, Hawks, Suns, Saints, Dockers, Powers, Blues, Bulldogs, Roos and Giants players locked at bounce of Bombers and Hawks games Friday night
Eagles Players locked at bounce of Eagles Bombers game next Thursday night
Lions, Pies, Cats, Demons and Swans locked at bounce of Swans and Hawks game next Friday night.

Points will be awarded as follows
Premier Division Winner 10 Points
Reserves Division Winner 7 Points
Colts Division Winner 4 points.

Conference with most Points will win this shield.

Please feel free to offer alternative or even say have the three weeks off.

Would much prefer the bye rounds off tbh.

We dont have any interest in this comp so if Giants are top 2 then maybe let the next coach be the coach and do the naming.
