Hinge out has thrown a spanner in my plans. Not even named in the emergencies!

Wanted to get Cameron in for ROB which would complete my forwards. Cameron and ROB share the same bye so no advantage on keeping ROB till his bye. $17K short though..

Need to downgrade Lockhart to a defender. Best option? Hinge likely to return?

Edit: I could also downgrade Lockhart to a mid, though this would break my DPP till another defensive rookie popped up

LaHug

A couple of options I hate but might do anyway...

1. ROB and Lockhart to Gardner and Whitfield

2. ROB and Hayes to Baker and Whitfield

Thoughts?

Scrimshaw > Hinge and Butters > J Kelly

Can hopefully hold trades in Round 12 then, although we know that's not going to happen :-X
:(

Still have the money to just do Scrimshaw to J Kelly, but means I enter the byes with a lot less cash than I wanted and have an extra Rd.12 bye player (Butters) to deal with :-\

Thinking the same trades but getting rid of Duursma instead of ROB, and grabbing Gardner. Allows me to keep Williams, and have Clark as emg and Answerth as M9 for now.
Duursma/Hayes > Gardner/Whitfield
Hore, L Baker and Balta to upgrade and team is complete

I think I'd rather hold Duursma through the byes than ROB because I have no issues with next week's bye and then I get some much needed cover for the other byes.

James Pies

It's either downgrade to Gardner early or have no money going into the byes for me :(

LaHug

Considering the DT board is dead, thoughts on these trades in DT?

ROB to Bines (I know it'd be nice to have ROB through the byes but it's the only way I can afford the next trade)
Lockhart to Whitfield

Jimmykidd

Ok changed again

Constable to Baker
O'Brien to Jezza

Need to get Corbett off my field. Sick of seeing 90's on my bench every week. 280k for next week and hopefully 1 up 1 down. Stack, duurs and hore left to upgrade

Keeper27

Final change

Petrucelle + Lockhart OUT
Begley + Houli IN

With smith/stringer/fantasia out i see Begley to stay in for a few weeks to make some money.

Next week triple downgrades for after the byes

Is it a huge risk going early on Gardner? I dont know a thing about him, other than he was a VFL Bulldogs player.
If anything he will be a F8 / D8 but i have the likes of Burgess and Robbie Young and Bailey Scott already.
Huge risk i think if i go early. Id hate to see him pump out a 5SC or something like that.

But ideally if Drew isnt picked to play this week then i think ill go Drew - Gardner and just cop it, that extra 220k will come handy next week or the week after

Think i might risk it and go early on him as well.

I want to complete my forwards with Cameron and i need a downgrade to get him, with Lockhart in defence being my best cow to cull. Who knows how long Lockhart is out injured for as well..

Thoughts/comments/concerns on Keefe to save a donut? I've currently have Hayes, Jones, Scott on my mid bench, and Wills on the field (don't ask, it's been a bad season and I've been in all sorts of timezones which has really shafted me). Not sure any of them will get back out there, but of the 4 Jones, Scott and Wills stand to make the most. Hayes out, Duurs to mid, Keefe into defence gives me a full midfield.
Other option is Baker straight swap I guess...

Well if Drew doesnt get named im in huge trouble.

My current bench in all line is:

Def: Williams, Burgess
Mid; Scott, Atkins, Stocker
Ruck: Bines
Fwd: Drew, Young

Yeah if I get rid of ROB and Clark, will be able to keep the link up of Duursma and Answerth plus have $150k left.

Plan is to get as much cash generation so from round 12, I start upgrading. Bont/Zerrett/Ryan/Sicily on my radar.

Gandalf123

I have gone early on Gardner for baker and moved Lockhart up to Ryan atm, other option would be baker to Gardner and stack to any mid, but think I’d prefer stack on field over answerth in the backline
