Is it worth trading Hore this week if it means getting Lloyd?

It's the only way I can afford an upgrade this week unfortunately, and these guys have the same bye so doesn't affect my setup as much..

I also figure Hore has another 50k max to make, and Lloyd will increase in price by around that in the next few weeks anyway.

In the long run I don't see a problem with that, Hore due to hit 440k with a couple of 80s, Lloyd probably races back to 600k.

I really only need him to play in Round 13

He plays this week, then has the bye then Round 13

For the Dogs to recruit him and then say within 24 hours that he is debuting tells me they're going to give him a crack, and I can't recall a time where Bevo has debuted someone and dropped them the following week - usually gives them a couple of weeks to give them a proper crack

Obviously there's the injury risk, but for F8 and what my personal team needs are from him I'd rather roll the dice on him instead of picking Young

Love the ballsy move, I'll be probably following suit next week without knowing he is playing rather than taking a punt on Young. Need at least one sighter on the bloke even to sit at F8. To debut him immediately though I agree, suggests they've got a real need for him in some specific role.

So after crunching the numbers on how I'm gonna tackle these byes I've come to the conclusion that I have sweet FA money and that ain't changing any time soon.

I'm taking Toby Greene rather than Cameron this week.  Simmo likely next week and Cogs after his bye.

Yes, you can poke holes in all of them as picks but when you need to trim $100k here and $200k there to finish your team, these are the value propositions you look at.

It's the only way I can fit in Neale and Lloyd.

Are you planning to use all 3 trades next week RD? If not, why don’t you just grab Gardner on his bye when you’ve at least seen some exposed form? It’s not like your warchest is being used next week anyway...

Gardner has been at the Dogs barely over 24 hours, so I have strong doubts he is completely up to speed with their gameplan. A Young type score from him would not surprise me.
