Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 152, 149, 99 (133 avg)
Last 3 against Sydney: 150, 133, 94 (126 avg)
Last 3 at SCG: 150, 133, 94 (126 avg)

MCG Grundy was huge again last week but the numbers say SCG Grundy is just as good. Lock him in against the Swans. Prediction - 140

Adam Treloar
Last 3: 113, 116, 120 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Sydney: 134, 117, 109 (120 avg)
Last 3 at SCG: 134, 117, 87 (113 avg)

If not for his teammate, Treloar would be your best Friday night choice. Good against the Swans and keeps on spitting out premium scores. Prediction - 120

Tom Rockliff
Last 3: 109, 149, 69 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 43, 130, 159 (111 avg)
Last 3 at Launceston: 43, 130, 159 (111 avg)

Back when Rocky was a super premium, you were licking your lips if he played down in Launceston. Now he's back there and showing some of that old pizazz. Very tempting this week. Prediction - 130

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 109, 98, 99 (102 avg)
Last 3 against North: 118, 137, 102 (119 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 99, 100, 132 (110 avg)

Macrae's form is still too poor to consider but he likes to play the Roos. Prediction - 105

Rory Sloane
Last 3: 113, 130, 105 (116 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 68, 149, 107 (108 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 130, 105, 125 (120 avg)

Sloane's form, particularly at home, is great this year. That said, teams with a genuine tagger are super risky for Sloane. The Eagles have this in Hutchings so I'll pass. Prediction - 90

Matt Crouch
Last 3: 53, 120, 105 (93 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 120, 150, 128 (133 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 53, 120, 108 (94 avg)

I don't think he's going to play this weekend and, even if he does, you'd be brave to pick an underdone Crouch. That said, look at his numbers against the Eagles! Shame he's hurt. Prediction - 110

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 126, 108, 144 (126 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 148, 112, 116 (125 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 148, 118, 82 (116 avg)

Gaff not only loves playing the Crows at AO but is a genuine gun DTer. Prediction - 130

Mitch Duncan
Last 3: 125, 142, 120 (129 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 136, 102, 128 (122 avg)
Last 3 at Metricon: 102, 128, 100 (110 avg)

Best midfielder vs the Suns. No, it's not Danger or Selwood or Kelly, it's Duncan. His scoring speaks for itself and he doesn't look like slowing down. Prediction - 135

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 125, 136, 104 (122 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 93, 102, 101 (99 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 104, 108, 128 (113 avg)

Merrett's been historically average against the Tigers but his recent form makes him a decent pick each week. Prediction - 115

Max Gawn
Last 3: 125, 91, 121 (112 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: 120, 140, 78 (113 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 121, 112, 97 (110 avg)

Big Max likes playing the Giants and has been great this year. There are better options but you could definitely do worse. Prediction - 120

Josh Kelly
Last 3: 120, 115, 113 (116 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 67, 131, 71 (90 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 115, 67, 118 (100 avg)

A healthy Kelly is a fantasy must have but he just doesn't string enough games together. His scoring is good but his history against the Dees leaves too many question marks for me. Prediction - 110

Lachie Whitfield
Last 3: 190, 39, 104 (111 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 51, 82, 82 (72 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 51, 123, 82 (85 avg)

Whitfield went HUGE last week. Kudos to everyone who kept him or even those who traded him in despite the BE. His form says he's going to be good, and I tend to think he will be, but he is horrible against the Demons. Prediction - 100

Patrick Cripps
Last 3: 45, 115, 111 (90 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 122, 143, 131 (132 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 111, 93, 121 (108 avg)

Don't worry about last week's score if you're a Cripps owner because he loves to smash the Saints. He will go huge this week. Prediction - 130

Lachie Neale
Last 3: 119, 91, 84 (98 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: N/A
Last 3 at Perth: 113, 99, 94 (102 avg)

I have to mention him here because he's playing against his old team. Neale's form is not really good enough to consider but I'm thinking a ton against his mates. Prediction - 100

LAHUG'S POD!

Dustin Martin
Last 3: 135, 81, 79 (98 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 118, 93, 133 (115 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 135, 68, 59 (87 avg)

Is Dusty back? I'm leaning more towards flash in the pan but boy is he tempting this week as a big POD. He's won the medal for this marquee match twice and could be huge if he brings the same effort as last week. Potential - 140

The verdict:
1.   Brodie Grundy (140)
2.   Mitch Duncan (135)
3.   Andrew Gaff (130)
4.   Patrick Cripps (130)
5.   Tom Rockliff (130)

u dreaming about Dusty

That's why he's only in the POD section :P

That said, Dusty's Dreamtime scores (going backwards from last year): 93, 133, 123, 107, 105

140 is a big stretch (max potential, not what I think he'll score) but I reckon a good ton around the 110-115 mark is pretty likely.

Duncan sounds raunchy for wxvs :p

I want to trade him in this week but he's too expensive for me in DT and I have too many backline issues in SC to get a mid. Really annoying...

Hope he does well, been pretty average since i put him in apart from last week obviously.

If Dusty didn't give away four frees he would have got 121.  Is he back?

As a forward in AF, yep. I'm strongly considering him.

Yeah, wouldn't consider him at all in RDT, but that forward status makes him an interesting POD option.

I think he is, looked like he was around the ball a lot and drifting forward.
