All of a sudden my trades are easy this week because of all the outs.

I have to trade Drew out because Danger is out too, so Drew to Young is a must.
I have to trade Moore out because I refuse to field both Answerth and Burgess, so Moore to Lloyd as my other trade.

Next week, I'll go ROB to Hinge via Burgess and bring in a forward or def premium based on teams.

Sadly, I won't be taking any cash into the byes :/
Similar boat except Scrim to someone. Either Whitfield or Ellis. Traditional SC logic would say just cough up for Whitfield but Ellis does look pretty good value even if it gives me 2 D6s (the other being Brodie Smith). Houli & Newman my other considerations but they seem a little too iffy for various reasons. One thing they do have in their favour is they are both taking kick ins.

Don't think there will be too many cashed people, rookies have been very lean.

I'l be double downing next week so I can enter the first week of byes with 450k ish

Who will you be trading down to? Or getting neither Hinge or Young this week?

Grabbing them both next week, no downgrading this week (unless Stocker misses then I have to grab Young early)

Fair enough. I can't afford Moore to anyone good without getting one a week early.

Brandon's pretty tempting, hey? I don't think I could possibly get him when I don't have Lloyd, Whitfield, or Hurn though...

I am getting Young this week most likely (for Drew) but I think Hinge & Fort would be the obvious 2 at this stage in regards to a double downgrade next week. Personally I will paint the fence this week & again next week. Fort being my 1st choice of the future bubble boys.
if everything goes to plan,  hately misses out and I trade ROB>Gawn,  if hately plays will do drew/setters>hately.   Next week  Hinge/Fort depending on how fort goes he may be a candidate for forward cash grab and ruck backup.        Best case is Max does a hammy 15mins in and is out for 4 weeks.   I grab Fort,  keep ROB and laugh myself sick over the byes as everybody has to trade out.

Mate, don't hope for injuries regardless of how it helps your SC.

You just want him to get toweled up, do something stupid out of frustration, and get suspended for 6 weeks (yet somehow nobody gets injured?).

Need help with my trades

So I have m.crouch on my bench atm.

Currently tossing up
This week:
Walsh and Duursma to Whitfield and Young

Next week:
Hore and Baker to Neale and Hinge/Fort

This completes my mids and one rook up forward and one back.

However not a 100% sold that M.Crouch comes back next week. So now I am contemplating holding Walsh and trading crouch.

What does everyone think?

I reckon Crouch comes back next week.

QuotePyke said he was confident midfielder Matt Crouch would return for next week's game against Melbourne after missing a second straight match with an abdominal injury.

If you can trade in the blokes you want without having to trade out Mcrouch I would hold him. As a fellow owner I wouldn't blame you for considering the trade tho. 54, 0, 0. Not good.

I'm trading him through necessity but wouldn't be against bringing him back, perhaps for Libba. Projected to shed another 50k which will make him almost a sideways trade.

I reckon Dunkley will be top 6 FWD or if not at least within a couple points of the top 6. There are no guarantees of course but Him & Heeney will be my finished F4/F5 at this stage. Danger/Kelly/Boak/Dunkley/Heeney/Billings. I don't have Heeney just yet but I have the other 5.

I haven’t really been watching Ellis. Any reason for his 50 and 70s? Is he changing roles? The upside looks good! As does the price. Get Whitfield and have another look at Blakely maybe? I think we’ll all be looking for sub 500k players very soon the way the rookies are going.

As someone that watches every Richmond game, it's a couple of things.

1. Because of all the injuries, we're playing a little bit more of a possession game where it looks like senior players, particularly half backs (Ellis, Houli, Vlastuin, Edwards, even Broad) are getting more of the ball before we go forward. It's certainly showing in the fantasy scoring for some of those guys.

2. Dimma came out and said he was criticising Ellis's poorer areas too much instead of encouraging his strengths (natural accumulator). I think the change in coaching mindset has genuinely impacted Ellis's confidence as he's playing like he did in 2017 now.

I'm very tempted to get him as a POD right now too.

RaisyDaisy

I considered Ellis for a brief second, but I'd probably take Milera over him

Lachie Weller has been going very well too, and then of course there's Blakely to consider

Not to mention the gap between the Top defenders and the rest is pretty big, so I'd probably steer clear of all of them and look for value elsewhere
