Need to decide between Oscar Baker and James Rowbottom, any idea on who has the better Job Security?
Baker is an unknown, and melb have plenty of players to return from injury in the next month.
Although rowbottom scores terribly and has the worst bye, he's the better option imo.

Think I've settled on Drew > Dunkley and Constable > Gaff.

crowls

parker>dunkley    walsh>hately or macrae - depending on final teams

imjusflexin

Collins & Parker -> J. Kelly & Larkey

Was gonna go Boak but the massive POD potential of Jelly is too much to pass up, and works better for byes.

RE Larkey : I'm feeling good about his JS and with no good rookies next week either I'd rather jump on 50k late than not at all.
He's been pinch hitting in the ruck a bit as well which is helping his scoring.

It's been an ugly fortnight for downgrade options. I need to dump Menegola so I might do something like Drew>Hately and Menegola to Zorko.

SilverLion

Parker>Macrae

No idea for the other trade. Have considered trading out Conigs, Atkins, Drew, Greene. Also have MCrouch who'll probably be out this week...

Hazza09

Constable and Coniglio both out have completely stuffed my trade plans for the week! The last 2 weeks in fact have been an absolute nightmare.

I was ranked as high as 851 overall just 2 weeks ago, can see me losing ground now!

Was thinking the following trades based on final times:

Ross - Stocker
Constable - Rockliff

or

Constable - Hately
Drew - T Kelly

Im liking the Rockliff trade but not entirely sure if Rockliff is needed, would potentially be a M8/M9 if i could afford to do that later in the season.

Anyone else in the same boat? eg Constable and Coniglio ruining your trade plans?

Definitely option 2.

I have a lot of dead weight... trade out two of the following:

Cogs, Brayshaw, Walsh, Witherden, Moore, Heeney, Greene...

I have $136,700 in the bank so probably can't get two premiums unless I trade two of the first three. Was thinking something like:
Cogs and Walsh/Brayshaw to Bachar and Macrae. Will scrap all that and go Petrucelle/Duursma/Drew to Hately as one of the trades if named.
Could also go something like Brayshaw and Greene to Lobbe and Bachar or even TMac and Laird for a yolo hail mary...

Locate your options that gain you the most on field points. Try to find value, but don't go too crazy looking for uniques. Keep it simple. Bachar Houli is one of those unique options I do like, Rory Lobb is not, Tom McDonald is not, Rory Laird obviously is obviously one I do like.

Don't go making a terrible start worse. The risks you take won't catch you up as much as you think, and the downside is far greater.

I think I need to hope for Hately and back my struggling premiums to turn it around. That'll be the best way for me to claw back (if I even can from here). Something like Walsh (or Cogs!) to Hately, Drew/Petrucelle (or Greene!) to Dunkley might be a better move...

Big week this week I think with trades, I'm looking at:

Drew > Hately
Walsh > T Kelly

Leaves me with 530k in the warchest to welcome Lloyd and Neale in next week

Nice, Neale very much on the cards for me next week. Will be around the 620k mark.

Gee it is hard with Coniglio out and Drew Doubtful

Thoughts on these options:
Option 1 Nigs to Macrae and Libba to Rockliff. Virtually 2 sideways trades so is it a waste?
Option 2 Nigs to Macrae and Gibbons to Stocker Macrae does not have the best record against  Cats and with a B/E of 98 little change expected,
Option 3 Gibbons to Stocker Collins/Wilkie to Laird/Sicily. Gets another rookie out of defense leaving Hore and Dursma on field as 2 rookies.
Option 4 Gibbons to Stocker Collins/Wilkie to Dunkley Another rookie of field and Moore back to defense. Drew on field with Corbett as emergency.
Option 5 Nigs to Dunkley via Drew Gibbons Stocker.  Cons with this Drew on bench and if not playing one of Hayes or Lockhart plays but can loophole,  This option only being considered if Drew does not play.

Reason for Stocker over Hately is that Stocker has the better bye structure to play through and JS is reasonably assured. Hately may be out for Nigs when he returns.

They have the same bye
