libba to either Fyfe or Bont

not sure which?
I brought Fyfey in last week, so I am definitely looking at Libba to the Bont this week.

Wanderer

Libba into Fyfe this week a no brainer.
I don't have Brouch.
Walsh will be my last rookie upgrade.

Bully

Libba still averaging 98, really surprised at the number of people jumping off.

The high BE and subsequent price drop is scaring people off. It's probably the closest difference in price that him and Fyfe are ever going to be as well.

he has been great for the year but has a 3 round average of 76 so he has clearly dropped off majorly. The fact he went 79 in his last full season and that he hasn't gone over 90 since 2014 are major reasons to think that he wont average 98.

Tricky one. Atm you still get $161 prof which is about what you want from a stepping stone/trade & if you don't take it now I think you are committed to the long haul. So that is the question I suppose. Bail now or hold until at least his bye.

Jumping off Libba not because I’m worried about his scoring because I know when he’s played as a full time inside mid bull he’s a gun pick. But Bevo playing him as a forward, as a tagger etc and giving him ridiculous roles means his scoring is gonna suffer. If ya told me Bevo would play him as a clearance inside mid this week I’d hold but he’ll probably spend majority of his time in the forward 50 where he has NFI what to do.

He spent a fair bit of time shadowing Dusty but I reckon he gets let off the leash this week, tipping a return to form. As for Walsh, this will probably be his last week in my side, can't see him increasing too much in value form here.

Happy to have Libba for the season, reckon he'll be fine for that M8-9 spot. Ultimately I'd want to loop him so I don't get stung by his tagging assignments.

So you don't reckon Libba shadows Neale? Arguably the best mid in the comp right now.

He may do but I think there are others who could do the job better, will just have to wait & see I guess. I think back to his early season form & he was sensational, surely the coach will recognise that.

We absolutely flogged Richmond at centre bounces this week and Dunkley was a big part of that. Looked as good as he did towards the end of 2018. I'd be very surprised if Bevo didn't continue to give Dunks more mid time, which *could* affect Libba, but i also feel like Libba can't really play elsewhere so i'd assume he has to stay in the guts...

Libba had 11 CBA's for the game, 6 in the 3rd quarter. 5 in the other 3 quarters so what's going on?

FWIW Dunkley had 14, Bont most with 16. Macrae had 13.

Just looking at his stats it's pretty obvious what is going on with Libba

1 tackle last week, and just 1 the week before

2 tackles in 2 weeks? That's probably a record low for him

Only had 14 touches on the weekend too which is well below his average

I can certainly understand why people are trading him to Fyfe etc now, but I'm getting all the spud rookies out first before I look at upgrading him, and if his value drops in the meantime then so be it - will eventually ton up soon I'm sure and stem the bleeding - I still have faith he will be good enough for M8/9 and be a keeper

yeah i think if you have spud rookies then better to drop them

but if its getting rid of guys like Durrs, Drew etc.. i think he has to go.

You would rather keep Duursma? That's strange considering there's Answerth available who looks the perfect like for like swap. Holding Drew I can understand because he's a 3rd year mid who has forward status.

Even if Libba drops a little he's still destined to average somewhere in the 90's, when the byes roll around his value will be felt I reckon.
