And at last we say goodbye to Thursday Games for a while

And we welcome our Rivalry Round this week with no Home Ground Advantage.

Draw for Rd 7

Grope Lane Giants v Liverpool Rams
4th v 15th - Giants continue to show strong form and should account for the Rams quite easily.

Bradford Badgers v Wrexham Knights
1st v 8th - Badgers have just been doing enough to win each week but will the Knights be the one to burst their bubble this week. If Knights play to their full potential they have the ability to knock the Badgers off but that is a big "if". Badgers probably for the win here,

Manchester Magic v Hastings Hurricanes
5th v 2nd -  This is the match of the round and with no home ground advantage this is really a toss of the coin.  Very little separates these teams on both points for and against. Expect a real dog fight and the team which wins the midfield will win. With not a lot of confidence going for Hurricanes to outlast the magic.

Nottingham Hoods v Staines Steins
6th v 10th - Another contender for Match of the round. Staines have the greater attacking power and Hoods have a better defense so this will be a game of defense v attack and whoever prevails in this battle will win. Hoods have been beaten a couple of times by HGA and ladder position is not an indication of the team. Another game toss of the coin but maybe Steins to get over the Hoods in the last quarter.

Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Birmingham Dragons
7th v 3rd - Dragons continue to Breathe fire on teams with high scores and will burn the Hedgehogs in this game.

Blackpool Bunnies v Huddersfield Hawks
11th v 13th - Closeness of these 2 teams on the ladder makes for an exciting game. Another game where result may be decided on whether attack or defence comes out on top with Hawks having the better defence and Bunnies the better defence. Hawks will be fired up as defeat will virtually seal their chances of finals for the year, Tossed a coin and it came up Hawks so not a lot of confidence there.

Oxford Lions v Winchester Werewolves
14th v 9th  - If Wolves are fully fit they should easily account for the hungry Lions. Wolves have been decimated by injury in the last couple of weeks and are hopeful the cavalry is coming this week. Should they not be at 100% a Lions mauling could be on the cards but doubtful.

Leeds Leeches v Swansea Breakers
12th v 16th - Will the breakers break through for first win. A possibility but highly doubtful with the 2nd worst attack and defence in the competition.  breakers may get some players back from injury but still do not see them getting the leeches off the boards. Leeches to win.

With no thursday game we revert to Normal.

Full lockout will come into effect at bounce of Pies and Power game on Friday night.

teams to be named in this thread and remember any changes to be made in a new post,

Good luck and start the banter being the rivalry round.
