Don't stress about byes, Laird is the value bet here, he also plays the first two bye rounds so you'll have ample opportunity to get the balance right. Sicily looks good but I can't honestly say he's worth the extra dough.

I like the Laird thing too. Anything can happen in SC but all things being equal they don't come safer than Laird. Rock solid. I really wanted him this week but I really need a FWD so I have gone for Telly at this stage. Will get Laird asap.

No thanks. Only reason his BE is 77 is because of that 115 in his rolling average... which will drop out after this week and he'll continue to get cheaper. He scored 89 last week with Hibberd tagging him (and Hibberd is not a renowned tagger). He'll keep getting attention from the opposition and he simply can't deal with it... yet. I'm watching to see if he turns it around later but I wouldn't touch him right now.

Agreed. I would rather Taranto at $510.

Im actually a Hopper believer, I think he can average 110, take out his injury game hes on ave 109. Hes An exceptional talent and has now been deployed in the midfield full time. Not saying its a lock but think hes worth a punt.

Two choices I've narrowed it down to this week, help me choose:

Zak Butters -> Will Hayes
Sam Collins -> Caleb Daniel + $8k

With this trade I'm taking a rookie off field (Collins) and putting on a low-ceiling but likely top-10 forward in Daniel. Will add points immediately, but I'm punting on Butters early who still has 40k to make imo.

OR

Tom Liberatore -> Will Hayes
Sam Collins -> Jake Lloyd + $128k

Libba has seemingly maxed out and is getting swung forward a lot which is scary, so not too worried about punting him now. While I'm getting top-2 defender lock Lloyd, I will have to play one of Hayes/Butters on field.
