First trade is likely Atkins to Hayes.

Second trade either Collins to Lloyd or Sheed to Neale??

If I trade Sheed he’ll probably ton up in his next 3 against GC, StK and Melbourne. Not sure which way to go yet.

Current team:

Laird, Williams, BSmith, Wilkie, Hore, Duursma (Collins, Scrimshaw)

Macrae, Cripps, Oliver, Libba, BCrouch, Sheed, Walsh, Constable (Atkins, Ross, BScott)

Grundy, Gawn (Bines)

Dangerfield, Boak, Kelly, Worpel, Marshall, Drew (Baker, Balta)

James Pies

Thoughts on going Brayshaw to Fyfe? Fyfe is obviously the better player and i like his price but i wouldn't be surprised if Brayshaw starts playing well as soon as i trade him...

I can only afford Collins to T. Kelly/Laird if I go Constable to Hayes. Constable is M9 for me (Walsh M8, Scott and Stack on bench).

Otherwise, I'm still strongly considering dropping one of B Crouch/Brayshaw to Hayes because they're not doing it for me (brings Constable on field)... Would give me enough cash to upgrade Collins to T. Kelly/Laird and still afford a downgrade/upgrade next week too.

Money Shot

Wilkie > Rotham (Even if/when he isn’t named)
Drew > Kelly

Means I have Kelly at F5 and Moore at F6 which sets up my forward line until the byes.

This depends on whether Whitfield and Coniglio are named.

Rotham will get a game sooner or later and Wilkie has made pretty much all he is going to make.

Double downgrade to 2 of Ainsworth, Corbett or Larkey next week and then will have plenty of cash in the bank.

Really unsure on who has to go!

Cousins for me is done! Scrimshaw and Atkins are also ready to go.

Could do Scrimshaw - Def Rookie (dont know who)
or Atkins - Hayes / Cousins - T Kelly but dont know if its viable!

Could do a straight trade from Sheed - T Kelly but again don't know if there are many points gained from that.

If Rotham isn't named I'd just grab Answerth a week early, same result & gives you the option of grabbing both rookies next week.

Libba to Fyfe
Scrimshaw to L.Ryan

Libba really?

Walsh should go before Libba, he has a BE of 68 so doesn't have a huge amount of petrol in the tank. This is about the time when first year guys start to flounder. Libba fine for M8 or M9.

I am still tossing it up, but Libba BE is 115 so proabbly capped out pricewise, and not sure when will I be able to grab Fyfe so easily again?

Thinking Atkins and Scrimshaw to Hayes and Lloyd

Well knowing your luck this year LH, whoever you decide to get will immediately turn into a potato.

But if I were you I'd do Collins > Laird/Kelly (depending on your rookie structure) and Constable > Hayes.

Constable will still increase in price, however his BE is 37 so it won't be too dramatic, probably caps out at 350k which means you only miss 50k. And the fact that he's your M9 makes his scoring irrelevant.
I don't like the idea of trading Crouch or Brayshaw at this stage. Crouch was ripped off this week, 30 disposals and 11 clearances for only 80-odd points, and Melbourne is currently rock-bottom and can only improve from here, improvement which will be carried by Gawn, Brayshaw and Oliver. Plus you want to be getting rookies off the field at this time of the year.
