Both seem good but if you can only have one, then Hayes cos cheaper, ie points-to-price ratio wins out …

for what it's worth, my most likely course of action for pre-rd6 trades are …

Clark --> Hayes (via newly acquired Stack M/D DPP)
Parker --> Dusty (with his newly acquired M/F DPP) - ie Boak/Kelly too far away at this stage and I need Parkers 'points on field' upgraded badly … ;)

Almost exactly the same trades as me.. i'm upgrading Drew instead of Parker as i don't have as much cash it seems.

I like Laird even though he is a little down on last year.

Got a couple of options this week.  I can either go Duursma to Hately and Libba to Cripps or Duursma to Hatley and Drew to either Ablett/Martin/Billings/Ebert (leaning towards billings at this stage).

I would like to get Cripps in as I think he'll smash the Hawks but I also desperately need another forward as I'm still running three rookies there right now, even if they are going ok.

Which team looks to have better balance?

It basically comes down to Cripps and Drew vs Billings and Libba.

Your back line is pretty strong with Williams at D5

Midfield looks fine at the moment, Libba has pumped out a few hundreds already, i would say a lot of people are still rolling with him.

Your weakest line is definitely your forwards. I would personally strengthen the forwards.

heh, heh FF - i'm flush with some cash but that probably reflects my ranking for AF (in the early 30k range! :o :(), not enough 'points on field'.

maybe Milera inj helps Laird in the near future??

Chelsks, for what it's worth, I get the feels that Billings/Libba jnr gives you more points atm over Cripps/Drew - Drew not bad but consistency not there - my only worry with that opinion is Cripps' ceiling for AF, ie I can't remember if he can consistently smash out 120+s in AF like he does for SC ...

I split my bets quite often .. sometimes AF does well, sometimes RDT does well lol .. rarely do they both do well in a week

What do you think of say sheppard, Cunningham, Jones, compare to laird? Laird has the runs on the board but the others are cheaper, lower break evens, and arguably better form, could they be worth a punt, Sheppards last 3 average of 106 priced at 631k isn’t too bad

I’m having trouble deciding. As you say Laird has the runs on the board. I think he’s a safe bet. The question is whether any of the other options are going to keep it up? Sheppard has a good bye.

Would it be worth getting on Sheppard till the byes given he has a lower break even then swap him over to laird, If he can put on more money than laird it would be worth the punt
