The Destroyers have averaged 118 in the past month. Injuries are some of the problem, the forward line is the rest. Gotta start winning. Rio has gone 171, then 136 and now 121. Which week was the anomaly? I think Dublin are due.

The Islanders have been good, but they certainly aren't playing to their top 4 standard of recent seasons. Right now, they aren't a threatening side, and one has to wonder whether the #NoTitchNoPacific tag applies. The Brewers finally got into the form they've been hoping for last week, now the challenge is to keep it up. Tough call, but I fear the Islanders will get up.

The Magpies - phwoah - where *this* close to utter embarrassment, and perhaps season end last week with a close call against Christchurch. What has happened to these 150+ regulars? The Dillos were slowly building to last week's win, and one gets a feeling they won't just collapse after a win. Danger game for Seoul, but I reckon they get up.

The Revolution's last month has been fantastic, ranking 7th in points scored during this time. The midfield has been standing up, and the rest of the line-up is starting to follow suit. The Thunder produced a 120 out of simply nowhere last week, having scored back-to-back 150+ scores before that. They'll bounce back with a win here I reckon.

The Spetsnaz posted an OUTSTANDING win against New Delhi last week, lifting at a good 200 points above their season average in respect of the opposition. The Reindeers also produced a spirited win against Cape Town, with its midfield really lifting in recent weeks. But, I think the Spetsnaz will get it done here.

I'm forgiving the Cobras for that one. They've had a fantastic first month, and we're all entitled to a poor week, it's just a shame it was against a likely bottom 6 team. What's concerning is that they would have lost to Christchurch last week, who have flourished early with their new coach. Danger game for Cape Town, but they should win.

The Suns posted a much deserved - and their first - win of the season last week, off the back of the fruits they enjoyed through the draft. Tokyo - similar to Cape Town - are allowed a poor week, but they really don't deserve to be 2-3 despite being 6th on the points ladder. I'll back Tokyo to get some reward for effort.

It's the giant slayer v the biggest giant of them all, in my MATCH OF THE ROUND! The Sands have now defeated Dublin, New Delhi and Pacific all in three consecutive weeks and as a result, would really fancy themselves for a spot in finals. A win here though would get Cairo thinking of a home qualifying final... anyway, they play a team who probably has a home prelim booked, who expertly navigated out of a tricky spot against London last week. It's just hard to tip against the Wolves, but the tall poppy syndrome in me would love to see them get beat by the Sands here.

The Royals win/loss ratio may not look any different, but their performances sure do. They don't deserve to sit 17th on the ladder at the moment, and would be hungrier than ever for a win to sort that situation out. The Tigers are all of a sudden 3-2 now, which is hard to fathom given their first three weeks. Surely that wasn't just a purple patch, and we've returned to regular broadcast viewing? All I'll say, is that a loss to the Royals here will undo all of their good work in the first 3 weeks. New Delhi for me.
