thoughts on this trade, Petrucelle (F7) + Duursma (D5) OUT > Rich (D2) + Baker (F6)... leaves me with $6K in the kitty

team looks like this now.

DEF: Lloyd, Rich, Newman, Smith, Moore, Hore (Clark/Burgess)
MID: Cripps, Neale, Coniglio, Brayshaw, Steele, Libba, Walsh, Stack (Constable, Scott, Butters)
RUC: Grundy, Gawn (O'Brien)
FWD: Danger, Kelly, Worpel, Marshall, Drew, Baker (Parker/Bines)

or do i wait a week or 2 for Whitfield?
Interesting with Petrol tonning up. BE of -5. Baker BE of -84. If Petrol spits out a 45ish this week & Baker goes 75ish it's probs a reasonable trade. OK you only get $63K prof but 30 on field points & an instant $70Kish from Baker. Petrol $35Kish maybe. 1 trade is used but FWD downgrade targets are extremely thin atm. Hmmm.

I cannot imagine trading out a guy with a negative BE at this stage of the year.
I suppose that's what makes it interesting. The fact that trading out a rookie with a negative BE might not actually be as silly as it sounds.

Jimmykidd

Parker and Clark are the only rookies I'm looking at trading but I might hold them another week. Rotham and Lockhart are risks and there's no point trading Parker to Baker and making 60k.

Only trade I really want to make is Gray to Boak. But I might give it 1 more week. Already used 4 trades and haven't done 1 upgrade! Nervous.

Will look at Hayes and Hately next week.

absolutely no way would i trade a rookie coming off a 100, also certainly not for a injury prone guy approaching 500k who hasnt shown a strong history or premium years.

Is anyone going to be able to talk me out of trading Marshall (peaked now I think) to Boak (a must have with a good bye as well) this week?

It's a bit like trading Tim Kelly straight after the De Boer tag, need to give him more time, especially given he has a decent match-up this week. For what it's worth, I thought he played pretty well against Gawn/Preuss, thought CD were really harsh at times & then scaled him down at the end of the match. Three tons out of four aint that bad.

Thinking Cousins to Ross and Collins to Boak via some DPP action.

Don't have Lloyd or Whitfield.  They play each other this week & Lloyd was tagged by De Boer last time they played.

Just feel like they aren't worth $615k.  Think I'm worth waiting for them.

Soooooooooo Handrews has to go.

Unsure on who the other guy is.  Darling?  Scrimshaw?  Collins?  Heck even Clark might be cooked.

Decisions...

Gotta be Darling.

I've got Darling, Scrim and Clark. I've cut Clark.

Darling has been a horrible pick but I think you ride him a little longer... BE of 120, won't drop heaps if you think he scores 80-90 odd. I'm thinking (praying**) that he has a big one coming.

Guess the counterargument is the Eagles are playing too many tall forwards for Darling to score well and you should punt him now.

AaronKirk

Need to strengthen my defense.

Clark to Lockhart and Collins to Simmo is what I am thinking. Don't have the cash to get Lloyd and Whitfield.

Yep that counter argument is what's been at the back of my head for the last couple of weeks.

Surely after getting embarrassed they'll drop Hickey, Vardy or Allen, which might be enough to get a good score.

tkringle

Thinking of upgrading Collins to Sicily. Noticed his last three against the blues is poor reading though - 0, 25 and 68. Do the blues tag him defensively?

Mat0369

The 25 was a Jed Lamb special I believe. He is gone so maybe Ed goes to him instead?

Lockhart named.
Burgess + Parker OUT > Lockhart + Baker IN.
$275K in the kitty now

PowerBug

It will be Clark to Lockhart for me. And then Butters to probably Worpel. Leaves Drew, Walsh, Constable, Duurs and Hore/Collins as my 5 remaining on field rookies :)
