Whole lot of options for me this week:

1. Brayshaw/BCrouch to Lockhart, Parker to Boak/Kelly/any other forward
Means Collins, Constable on the field

2. Brayshaw/BCrouch to Lockhart, Collins/Clark to Boak/Kelly/any other forward
Means Petrucelle, Constable on the field

3. Collins to Lockhart, Parker to Boak/Kelly/any other forward
Means Lockhart/Clark, Constable on the field. No cash and no flexibility

4. Clark to Lockhart, Parker to Kelly/any other forward other than Boak
Means Collins, Constable on the field. No cash and no flexibility

Probably many other options too... Doing my head in. I think 1 or 2 means I can also get the other of Kelly/Boak next week and have way better rookies on the field. But not sure if it's the time to give up on Brayshaw or Crouch yet...

Or replace Lockhart with Hore in options 1/2 and I still have enough cash for premiums in consecutive weeks I think.

I like option 4, think you can look at some more cash generation with Hately next week.

I'd still have to trade out Brayshaw or Crouch to get Hately next week unless I move Constable on early or Scott for no cash...

Constable should hit 300k so whilst he still has some legs I don't think it will be a huge amount. With that extra 150k you could look at doing another upgrade. Think it's important to balance points accrued with cash making ability. Brad Crouch hasn't done a lot wrong & could still rip out a big one, his ceiling is high with his top scores in 2017 being 149, 138, 121 & 120. One solid score & his average elevates into keeper territory.

Did the sums. I'll be approximately $50k short of getting both Kelly and Boak if I do option 4 and next week do Collins and Constable to Hately and forward premium. So I can only do that if there's another forward worth getting other than Kelly and Boak...? It would mean fewer rookies on the field (not that Constable's a bad rookie for the meantime).

Boak can wait, I think that his price will come down. As for the other forward, reckon you could take a punt on any one of Daniel, Billings, Marshall or Worpel. Bear in mind we will all need to take that punt at some stage. Another week of data & some will drop off from that list but there will definitelyl be a clearer picture. There's also Greene to consider, he's someone I'd be happy to bring back if he shows a bit on the weekend.

Already got Greene. The logical play would be to get the non-Kelly player this week because Kelly will drop in price further if Hutchings gives him attention... Then the question becomes who should I get and why shouldn't it be Walters?

Millsy999

I've gone with Burgess to Lockhart and Butters to Ross this week. Will look at going one up one down next week.

I reckon there's about a 20% chance that Walters plays out the season, so you have to be prepared for that eventuality. Boak is the durable guy so maybe just punt Collins and get him instead. In doing that however you may find Clark being rested so that leaves you exposed. I'd just grab Kelly to be honest, 490k is still a damn good price even if he sheds a little more.

Here are my options.

- Trade Clark & Andrews to Lockhart & Laird.

- Trade Burgess & Andrews to Lockhart & Hurley / Witherden.

- Trade Butters to Ross & Andrews to Laird. Constable at M8.

- Trade Burgess to Baker, swinging Moore into Andrews' spot on field. Hold Andrews on bench. This option means Parker, Drew & Baker all on field.

Still no idea what to do. Help would be greatly appreciated!

HappyDEZ

Walters & Greene in the same team. Living on the edge!

Need some desperate help here..

DEF: Ryan, Laird, Williams, Collins, Scrimshaw, Duursma (Clark & Hore)
MID: Neale, Oliver, Cripps, M.Crouch, Liberatore, Walsh, Constable, Butters (Atkins, Gibbons, Scott)
RUC: Gawn, Grundy (O'Brien)
FWD: Dangerfield, Daniel, Heeney, Dunkley, Moore, Drew (Balta & Bines)

39k left
Thinking about doing maybe Collins > Lockhart then pushing Drew into the midfield and trading Butters for Kelly, so my forward line is pretty strong despite the weak bench. But i also think its a good opportunity to get in Ross so i could swap Moore into the defence and then trade Collins for Worpel and then go Butters to Ross? Or is there anything else i can do?

If I was you I wouldn't trade this week. Just play Hore ahead of Collins.

Next week go Butters to Hately and you'll have 200k-ish to move on Moore or Collins.

Scratch that. Going to move on Setters instead

Setters-Ross

With the second trade, would you move on Collins or Clarke this round for Lockhart? The one not traded or Duursma (depending on performance) will be traded the following week for Hatley.

batt

An hour to the bounce and I still have absolutely no clue what trades I'm making.

Mongoose528

Thinking LDU -> Ross, Parker -> Worpel.

Almost the same

Leaning towards Ross over Baker due purely to cash generation

Reckon Baker is a better player though

Mat0369

This round is a kick in the dick with the downgrade options playing early but barely any teams being named until tomorrow night. Possible donut city
