Dublin... destroyed? Off the back of a couple severely injury affected losses, the Destroyers need to get on their bike, considering the worst of their draw is to come. New York meanwhile is proving all the doubters wrong, and seem a genuine contender to steal a place in the 8. You'd have to back them really!

Beijing are back to their scary best, whilst Berlin have been stagnating. Granted, Berlin haven't really been able to get a clear run at it in the last couple of weeks, a lack of a 140+ score means they aren't fooling anyone; being 2nd is pure luck. I'd simply have to laugh if we get up here. Beijing.

The Spetsnaz could have been a little more impressive in beating the Destroyers last week, but they did all the same, and that's all that matters. New Delhi however slipped up against the Sands last week, and fell behind Toronto in the "premiership favouritism" in the process. The stage is set for a rebound if you ask me. New Delhi.

The Samurai I reckon have announced themselves; they're here to make finals, and the days being 'slightly better than the worse, but still not good' are over. The Dillos meanwhile are facing some impatient fans for a second win, having let last week slip against a rampant Cripps-led Rio. Samurai on form should get up.

The Jags have Patrick Cripps and Patrick Cripps only to thank for last week's win, with the rest of the team performing below their standards. The Suns put in a good showing against New York, and to be honest could be a sneaky chance here. If I were to tip an upset, it'd be this match! But no, Rio for me.

It's the ailing force v the rising tide in my MATCH OF THE ROUND! The Islanders just haven't been the same since Tom Mitchell broke his leg, and that's probably fair. But I'd say the rest of the team hasn't quite lived up to their heights of 2017 & 2018, and they just don't look anywhere near a 150+ score at the moment. The Sands meanwhile were dealt a fixture from hell to start the year, and they have two HUGE wins (plus one small one) to show for it! Losing on HGA to the Thunder, they followed it up with wins over Dublin & New Delhi. Can they now defeat Pacific, and Toronto next week? If they do, a top 4 finish beckons I reckon! I'll back the Sands!

The Reindeers have endured a tough week in Paris, with the iconic Notre Dame going up in heartbraking flames. Is this a metaphor for their season, or will the fire translate to the field? We saw glimpses last week with a challenge to Pacific, but the Reindeers couldn't quite get it done. The Cobras however have been getting it done, and will look to avoid a surprising threat to slip out of the 8. You know what? I reckon the Reindeers will get up for the ol girl!

The Saints are now officially under new management, with Koop taking on the role during last week. Will we start to see a lift in results, or are the Saints doomed to score no bigger than 110? Seoul have had a rather rough start to the year, so a win here will be a welcome respite. Seoul for me.

The Royals have simply been so much better this year, but perhaps have been a victim of a tough draw so far this year. That doesn't change this week, with the faultless Wolves looking to continue their unbeaten run. Hard to see them losing at all at the moment.

Rumour has it that you can actually get a 'home ground advantage' or something in this comp. Whatever that is. Might be an old, old wooden ship from the civil war era.
