Hore and Mundy, but turned them into Scrimshaw and Whitfield (backline looks much better now with Lloyd and Whitfield). If Mundy keeps turning it around then might regret moving quickly on him.

Still have Mills who turned it around last round, but was against the Blues, so the jury is still out on him.

Picking Dunkley over Boak to start
Currently on 28 trades not sure if it’s wasting a trade swapping Dunkley for Boak
Do people think Boak will keep up hisbhigh scoring all season??

I was sceptical about Boak, but if you look at his averages against all the teams, his lowest is an 81, but he generally averages 90's - 100's. These averages are good enough to make him one of the top FWDs. He is playing more midfield now and I can't see him going below his historical averages, but has every chance to average higher than in the past, so I think he seems like a safe bet. There are hardly any FWD premiums putting their hands up right now so I am feeling more confident in Boak and will be looking to get him in eventually.

I'm actually quite content, although I have landed on the wrong side of a few 50/50 calls

I had Neale and Oliver rotating for ages, and ended up on Oliver. He hasn't been horrible, but obviously Neale has been massive so it hurts missing that

I also had M.Crouch in my side for ages and traded him to Dusty the day before the season started

I never really had Whitfield in my side so can't be upset about missing him

Bully

Oliver over Neale, hopefully things balance out in the long run but this has cost me a spot in the top 1000 which would have been a great start. Pretty happy with my team however, well positioned & not completely out of the running.

Very hard to nail every 50/50 call and it's only 3 rounds in, but you seem to be in good shape so far. You have dodged all the major bullets so far.

Not picking Lloyd and Whitfield when they were in my side pretty much all preseason so went for Laird and Crisp instead. Apart from that pretty happy - got Boak, Neale and Libba right

Laird and Crisp are keepers so not too bad. Just got to hope Lloyd and Whitfield have an average game or two around the time the rookies start to fatten up and you will be in great shape.

Consistently dropping points from rookie selections. Balta over Drew, Setterfield over Scott/Constable, Coloins over Hore (All Rd 1), Scott over Constable/Butters Rd 2, Scott over Butters, Duurs/Clark over Collins (Both Rd 3)

I'm not willing to call Dunkley or Laird official mistakes yet, but they have some work to do to catch up to the others in their positions

Yeah definitely but frustrated I had Lloyd and Whitfield before round 1. Oh well, here’s hoping the Cats pay extra attention to Whitfield  :P Lloyd will kill it again at home. Forgot to mention I started with Dusty but corrected that last week to Sloane which has worked out well so far and hope his good form continues.

Rage trading Heeney. At least it was for TK so it doesn’t sting too bad yet.

until he doesnt play this week

He’ll play this week. He could’ve come back on last week.

Starting Dusty is my only big regret.
Billings ahead of Boak to save a little bit of money was silly but not a disaster.
The only other mistakes I've made were on which rookies I fielded and benched but that's a lotto the first couple of rounds

crowls

Starting 7 prems and mids in Midfield.  Left me without space to grab cash making rookies.
Meant no Lloyd,
Trading Libba to Worpel r2 to get in mid rookies and strengthen fwd/def
Trading Ridely to wilkie r2 after ridley and hore both dropped
Trading Heeney to Crisp r3  was 3500 short of Lloyd -should have sat on him.
Starting Bailey Smith instead of Zac Butters
4 trades done and just shuffled deckchairs on titanic.    Avg 2250 and hit most mid pricers and rookies.
Regret starting B Smith,  can see low probability as keeper.

B.Smith had a bad game last round but still averaging 82 so far and will make around $40-50k after this round. If he can get his average closer to 90 then it would have been worth having him in the team even if he doesn't become a keeper due to not many good rookie options being available. He could even be a good stepping stone to Lloyd.

also in principle against 600k def and fwds (unless named dangerfield or docherty) got caught with Doc a season or so ago as well as I bet he would come down and didn't.   When these no 1 picks don't drop it is darn near impossible to get them in later.
