Upgrade targets

Hopefully one of Laird or Whitfield. DEF is a pretty poor position in terms of rookies, so would like to turn poor scores into good ones first.

Need Lloyd and Whitfield in def, but 1st upgrade will be in fwds to get one fwd rookie off field - Kelly or even the Hoff for DPP. Tmac another option but need to see a turnaround in form to pick him.

Westhoff could be a good pick for those running Bines in r3. I might look to him or Laird first, but Laird is definitely being impacted by Smith and Milera. I'm starting on wane on him being a surefire top 6, but should be top 10 anyway. Which means getting him in.

I can't see TMac doing much this year even though his price will definitely tempt some people to pick him. If Melbourne can turn it around he will benefit, but doesn't look like setting the world on fire IMO. Could end up being F6 at best.

Think most of us are missing a few, reckon I'll look at getting defence sorted first & then working out ways to get Kelly & Boak. Have checked Boak's BE & whilst it's low it's not outrageous, will probably be around 550k by the time I can afford him.

Looking at next week, might be best to bank 100k from a rookie downgrade (eg. Scott to Stack) & then go for an upgrade the week after.

Don't have Boak or Kelly out of that lot. Will go after Boak first because more bye friendly, then Kelly after the bye.

I know he has started the season strongly, but is Boak really in the "must-have" category already? I'm still unsure whether he'll be a legit top 6 forward...

Think 95+ a certainty for Boak, no doubt we'll see some 80's in the future but for a guy who rarely misses a game I would put him in the must-have category.
