Greene to Marshall is done.
Never again Greene.... made out of glass.
Make it pay Marshall...less than 1% ownership. Sink or swim on this one.

He was 0.5% last week when I got him. Has been traded in by thousands of teams so defs not that unique

Good to see, Marshall at least makes some coin, would be happy with any score north of 80.
As would I.

The Greene > Marshall trade is really tempting me... Marshall and Moore will be really nice early upgrades if they keep their scoring up.

Any concern with Longer getting back into the senior team?

It's Marshall's to lose, hopefully he lasts a few more rounds.

That's very true.. Going by TooSerious, if he scores 90 this week and next, he'll hit 400k.

In the JLT team game he played he killed it too. Really tempting.

struggling this week with decisions.

I need to do one of these trades as im not going to play atkins on field.

Trade 1 Greene Scott to Sculz Macrae/Neale:

Had enough about Greene and moving him on lets me get a captain option in Macrae/Neale and when you can get one of those you should. Dont love Schultz as not the best scorer and potentially not great JS but he came in for banfield and playing his 3rd game, worst case he becomes a decent loophole option which helps me loophole Parker Petrucle

Trade 2 Scott Setterfield to Stack Menegola/Hurn/Kelly

means i play stack on ground this week for Fyfe and then I play the fwd/def premo for Parker. I like that it gets me a premo but at the same time when i look at these guys v macrae there is a huge gap. The plus is i keep greene

Trade 3: Scott to Dahl

Dahl i play M8 this week for fyfe then switches up front. ONly requires the 1 trade and i keep greene but even with Dahl's scoring im not convinced he is a top fwd plus hurts my fwd bye situation.

Trade 4: Scott Greene to D/F Donut + Macrae

similar to trade 1 except getting in the D/F means i can move Moore forward which means i can play Scrimshaw over Parker/Petruculle and it means i have the loophole and then the F/D means i can move that loophole around. Might be a little early in the year for this but given the state of the rookie the worst ones arent much better then a donut.

Scott has another 50-100k left in him and he is only out for rest purposes and will most likely be back in next week.

Greene is a massive liability and will be a major risk all year if you keep him so he has to go IMO. I don't know your team, but I would trade him to a position in your team that needs the most structural fixing, which this year is either defence or fwds. If defence you need to have at least Lloyd or Whitfield, and if fwd you need at least Kelly (I am assuming you have Danger).

Is there some way you can avoid playing Atkins by getting Kelly in for Greene and using Kelly's DPP, if you have a better rookie on the bench in fwd than Atkins that is?

I have no DPP so i have to bring in a mid to avoid atkins.

I ended up going Scott Greene to Schultz Macrae pulled the trigger as i was going crazy.

thing with Scott is he really has had 1 good quarter and apart from that has been pretty average. He will be back next week but when you can get in a super premo you probably should. Macrae will likely be sub 600k at some point but if he can keep up 120+ then having him in the squad is key, especially if he drops 170 which he is capable of.

The logic regarding Macrae is solid. Just sit back now and enjoy the scores he pumps out every week.

Holding Toby Greene, he can pine it up again.

Dusty > Libba
Drew > Worpel

Will be better off in the long run with my team. I'm confident Greene will overcome injury and be back and have already stated that the forward rooks have been scoring OK apart from last week so will back them again this week.
Getting rid of Drew sucks but don't like his mid / forward rotation with Wines back, scoring could be yuck going forward.

Means next week will come back strong

Macrae, Cripps, Fyfe, Sloane, B Crouch, Libba, Constable, Walsh
Danger, Heeney, Worp, Greene, Moore, Pahka/Setters/Pettrucelle

This week will field Pahka and Setters on ball for Bloos v GC so not the end of the world.

This trade will come down to whether Greene is back next week but I'm confident he will be, a month off is ample time.

Crazy trading Drew, he still has a negative BE, you are wasting just about all your capital from the Libba trade & for a player who may or may not be a keeper. I like Worpel but how many second year mids go on to average 95+? Oliver......................O'Meara..................Cripps.........................now I'm struggling

i wasn't convinced he would pump out 120+ before round 1.

and i started Dusty and Oliver who i thought would come close for alot less.
