Marshall just got scaled down from 123 to 119 and now I lose my league match by 2 points lol

4 point drop is stiff!

Ouch! Though he was robbed a bit in the dying minutes too. In any case he should make 100k in no time, even if stalls a bit from here.

It was obviously my opponents day

After his Danger VC failed (I had Grundy) he went Cripps who went even bigger, but on top of that he had Cousins who looked like being done for the day but then came back on, but the biggest BS was the 50 point final qtr by Jack flowering Newnes who he also had to get him over the line by 2

Everything had to be perfect for him, and it was :(

Early days though, so no biggie, just a bit annoying haha and very happy I traded out Greene for Marshall :)

Yeah, Cripps at quarter time was looking like a nightmare but that's the nature of the beast. In any case we should all be happy that Marshall only has 5% ownership, that may change a bit next week but we can at least concentrate on getting some cash in the bank. Just checked Marshall's price in TooSerious & he's around 390k, reckon his ownership will double this week.

Marshall will be around $405k. Still value, but as mentioned by others, rooks on the bubble may be more important for many

I might be silly but holding. The last 2 weeks are sunk costs, you can't recover them. Look to the future and weigh up the cost of playing a rook for an extra week then Greene thereafter.

The only rational reason to trade is if you believe he is out for more than one week again, or won't come back in scoring the numbers you thought he would when you picked him preseason

The last two weeks are sunk in terms pf points but Marshall's earnings are there for the taking, with rookies slowing down I'm all over this opportunity. The other problem with holding Greene is that some of the rookies will be close to his price so I'm expecting quite a few to jump on if he fires.

Ended up trading Marshall in after your reply, thank you Bully

Well done mate, could be a huge leg up if he continues this form. Not too fussed about Gawn next week, will take an 80 & I reckon he does enough around the ground to be a keeper for the year.

Now for the big question...........what do the masses do? Jump on at 400k or hold off until after the Melbourne game?

Hopefully they have too many spudding rookies to worry about.. I know I do!

Yeah I thought I saw a couple of HOTA in the last 2 minutes that were not paid..

I want to get Marshall in but I feel like I need to get Hore and Rotham in too.

Going to go LDU > Hore\Rotham via Duursma with my 1st trade and was going to go Parker > Marshall with my second trade but thinking I need to pick up both the rookies this week instead.

Spuds I'd be prepared to trade are Balta and Burgess but Burgess is handy with his DPP with Moore and trading out forward and back rookies with.

Setterfield and Petro are the other 2 I could trade out but feel like they have an 80 + in them still.

Don't know what to flowering do...  :-\

Well done to those who got him. I was talking him up all week in the threads and he looks like the real deal. The Saints would be crazy to try to change things up with Longer the way Marshall has been playing. The team winning also helps.

Quite a few people held on. Still at 8.9%

Glad I chose Worpel instead of Greene, but as you know swings and roundabouts, I chose Dunkley over Heeney  :o

LF

Knew this was coming as it happened before and why I traded his arse straight out.
Don’t care if he avgs 200 never again for me now

enzedder

Wow!
Glad I traded him for Marshall last week. One week becomes 4. Wouldn’t hold my breath about him playing next week either.

no eye deer

Should have flowering known. GWS bullshower+calf injury=Prolonged Pain for SC. Might just rage trade him to Marshall and be done with it, as I should have done last week.

LaHug

I should have done Marshall this week too. I'm furious!

LaHug

What the hell do I even do now? I can't afford Marshall with a single trade any more. I think I'm going to quit.
